"Nahi mila. Pata nahi kaha rakha hain,"Preetika said while sitting down on her bed after searching her jewellery set.
Hardik sat beside her and said,"locker mein hi dekhte hain chalo, shayad tumney dekha nahi hoga."
"Haan, chaliye,"she said and they went out of their room.
"Veere! Mila set?"Shubman asked and she said,"nahi re, pata nahi kaha rakha hain."
"Mere khayal se aapke outhouse wali room bhi check karni chahiye ekbar. I mean, abb toh aap wahi reheti hain. Toh shayad waha le gayi ho,"Nidaya said.
"Haan, chalo dekhte hain ekbar,"Shreyas added.
They went to the outhouse room while Satakshi said,"itna important set kaha chala gaya kya pata. Koi aur set gumm huya hota toh there wouldn't have been any problem. But it's an ancestral set. Maa Sa ko unki saas ne diya tha, phir unhone mujhe aur phir maine Hardik ko dekar kaha tha ki humare Preet ko pehena deh. Kitni memories joodi hui hain uss set ke saath."
"Meher, zara sabke liye green tea banane ko bolna Sushma se,"Shrutika said and Meher went to the kitchen.
Preetika came to the outhouse room with Hardik, while Nidaya and Satvik followed up to help them.
They searched in her belongings and around the room but got nothing and Satvik said,"yaha bhi nahi hain, Bade Papa."
"Hmm! Koi baat nahi. Preet, dukhi matt ho. It's okay. Tumhari galti nahi hain,"Hardik said as Preetika became sad.
"Wardrobe ka yeh wala side check kar lete hain ekbar,"Nidaya said and opened the wardrobe while Preetika said,"rehene doh Nidaya. Voh Meher ka side hain. Waha nahi ho sakta hain set."
But Nidaya pretended to check everything while saying,"oh! Phir toh shayad yeh usi ke gehene hain saarey. She took out the box of that particular set in a way that they would notice it in her hand, and then she kept it aside and pretended to shut the wardrobe's door while saying,"chaliye ghar mein hi dekhte hain."
"Ek minute! Voh green wala box nikalna jo tumney abhi pakda tha,"Hardik said, as he had noticed the big mark of the old jewellery shop's logo on it, and Preetika had noticed that too, hence she went silent.
Nidaya took out the box and asked,"yeh wala? Yeh kapdo ke beech mein tha, isiliye maine baaki jewellery boxes ke saath rakh diya."
Hardik came forward, with his expression hardening, while his eyes were fixed on the old box. He took it from Nidaya's hand and opened the box and looked at Preetika, who was shocked to see the set which they had been searching for so long.
"Preet Mom, yahi hain kya voh set?"Satvik asked in a low tone and she gave a nod. Hardik stormed out of the outhouse room and she ran after him alongside Satvik, while Nidaya smirked and thought,"bass! Yahi toh chahiye tha. Seedhe ghar se baahar jayegi abb voh gareeb behenji."
