Chapter 6 Exploding Enemy

Days have now passed after Adria first found the emerald then Cato got it, making the two incredibly famous. Penavie soon got the emerald as well the following day putting her in third place. The day after Minmin had gotten the emerald alongside her brother Valador who's name was right under hers. Now the news feed was buzzing more than ever about the names on the scoreboard. Everyone was curious about who the avatars were and how they got the emerald and when would they get the next gemstone.

That last one was a question Adria was asking herself right now, as so far she didn't have any clues on the riddle. While Adria admired Noha on their love for challenges she hated that character trait of theirs just as much. As said before, the clue didn't really make much sense and she still struggled to figure it out.

"Ugh! What does it mean!! High and low, the flow goes. The chrysocolla is just as so, look in the sky and night, and you'll find an utmost delight. Hmm... did Noha's brain cancer mess with their head so badly that they couldn't think straight? Ugh!" Adria groaned, annoyed.

"I wonder how the others are doing? Hmm... I'll come back to it later, I need a break and hopefully I might get some ideas on it during my break," Adria told herself.

She closed the tab that contained a screenshot of the riddle, and got up from the empty field she was in. Adria stretched her avatars arms and legs, even though they didn't need it her real limbs needed it. "Okay what should I do on my break? I'm finished with school for the day... What about Cato? Should I see what he's up to? Ahh! What am I saying, he never talks to anyone at all and barely even replies to my messages. But what is even up with him, why is he like this?! ...maybe I should find him and ask myself. Unfortunately I don't know where he likes to chill, but I think I can make a guess based on the items his avatar wears," Adria told herself out loud.

She began to think of the items that Cato's avatar wore and where you could find them. Adria remembered the overcoat he wore was sold in the world of Katella that contained various ninja themed items and gear, along with around 200 or more games revolving around ninjas from all over the world. The area was incredibly popular for ninjas from Japan and Korea. After all, a place like that was perfect for training for them so around 80% of the population were from those regions.

Once she had all those thoughts in mind Adria decided that she would check there first. She hoped that he would be there as she didn't have much in-game currency to travel around that much, so she'll need to spend it wisely. Adria opened up her avatars inventory, her eyes traveled down to an icon that had the earth symbol on it. She reached out and taped the icon with her finger and it opened up the universal map. The scene to Adria changed and she found herself surrounded by stars and planets. All of the planets had little faint lines going through them much like how the universe is drawn with. Adria stood in the center of the planet's universe as if she were the sun. She opened up a search bar and typed in the name Katella. Once the name was complet a planet showed up behind the search bar. Adria lowered the bar and reached her hand out to the planet. Now in her hand Adria taped the planet making it disappear, the second it was gone Adria's surroundings completely changed.

Adria's avatar materialized in the center of Katella's city square. The system she used allowed users to travel to locations that didn't have teleportation boxes. Adria's eyes darted around the area she was in and it was the planet's main city square. The area has a fountain with katanas, nunchucks, and ninja star statues in the center. Adria looked around seeing several buildings that towered over her avatar and other avatars. Some had a holographic controller icon over them as they were where the gamer's could go and play the video games here. Others had holographic bag icons over the buildings as well indicating that they were for shopping for items.

"Alright now let's look around for Cato and I hope that he's here," Adria prayed.

She began trekking through the area in search of her cyber crush; however, she didn't disguise her avatar allowing everyone to see her clearly. Almost all avatars noticed her as soon as she came within a single pixel of their line of sight. As Adria was walking around she felt someone tap her on her shoulder, she looked and saw an alien avatar that had green skin, three black eyes, antennae on its head. "Hello you're Adria, a member of the Glittering Stones right?" the avatar asked.
