Vivienne sped all the way back to her hideout internally screaming for her legs to not fail her. As soon as she got back to the fridge, and oven pile, Vivienne slid into the crawl space and practically threw herself in through the still open door. Now inside the temporary safety of her hideout the shock of what happened wore off completely and Vivienne's eyes began to water. She instantly began to cry as the knowledge of her mother being dead had fully sunk in. The only family she had left in the world was now gone and she would never get to see, kiss, hug or do anything with her mom ever again. "Mom! I'm so sorry! Ugh! Why did it have to be you and not me!" Vivienne cried out in despair.
She cried more for some time till Vivienne felt like she sobbed out all the moisture in her body. Now with all her tears out of her head Vivienne stood up on her feet and went back on the treadmill. She began hooking herself back up to the holder, slipping her gloved and VR headset back on. Vivienne logged back in but instead of going back to the location she was in before she selected the option to go into private messages. Now in her list of private messages Adria quickly scrolled through her messages till she found the avatars she was looking for. Adria found her messages with Penavie, Cato, Minmin, and Valador; she smiled at this as Adria was planning to inform them all of what happened.
So Adria selected to message all four of them at the same time, and a message box popped up asking if she would want to make a group chat with all five of them. Adria felt unsure about this as she knew Cato wasn't really interested in talking with many people, he's made that very clear. However Adria felt like that he might be a part of this group chat under the current circumstances. Adria selected the option yes allowing her to make a whole group chat with all her friends. The screen was instantly filled with a message box and a white board meant to show the conversation.
Adria instantly started typing in her message to everyone that said: Guys listen up we got a situation! The CEO of T.B.G.I, and his secretary attacked and tried to kill me. Thankfully they didn't get me as I was in my hideout and not my house! But they had blown up my house which killed my mother, we need to discuss a plan to eliminate them and tell the police about what happened with evidence.
Adria hit send as soon as she was finished with writing the message and was now waiting for her friend's response. After several minutes the response's from her friends finally came, she began reading through the replies from her friends.
Penavie: Holy guacamole! They tried to kill you!! I knew they where fucked up but I never imagined they would've gone that far!
MinMin: Those bastards have no honor! They dare think they can commit attempted murder and get away with it! Not on my watch!
Valador: I agree with MinMin! I will not allow them to ever get away with such an awful crime!
Cato: As much as I prefer to work alone, I will help out with this. We might wanna discuss this somewhere else here.
After reading the messages Adria began typing in her response into the box. Adria: Let's go to Penavie's tree house. We can talk more there.
After sending this message everyone replied with a thumbs up emoji. She smiled and closed the group chat before opening up the way to the tree house. Adria then selected Penivea's private chat room and was instantly teleported outside of the treehouse like before. She climbed up the latter and pulled herself inside the treehouse easily. Once inside she waited for the others to arrive so they could discuss what they should do. Not even a minute passed and Penivea's head popped out from the entrance on the floor. Adria watched as her best friend pulled herself up into the treehouse and turned to face her.
"Hey A, how are you feeling?" Peniva asked, her voice toned with concern.
"N-Not really. My mom is gone now... a-and I just can't believe it. Sniff... s-she was all I had a-and now... she's gone AHG!!" Adria stuttered out as she began sniffing before bursting into a crying fit for the third time.
