Horrified Vivienne scrambled back on her feet and ran away from the drone as fast as she could. Unfortunately her legs were still very weak despite the adrenaline going through her right now. She looked around for a place to hide, and thankfully she found one, an old abandoned house was close so she could hide inside. So in the blink of an eye Vivienne ran inside of the old house and hid slamming herself right on the wall under a window. Vivienne clutched onto her bags in fear as the drone flew around outside.
"H-how could they have found me?! Did that drone see me or has it been following me?!... Wait! What if!" Vivienne uttered, shaking heavily. She opened up her duffle bag and began to dig through it, pulling out her VR headset from F.S.I.G. "What if when they hacked my headset to learn my real information, did they install some kind of tracking virus?" Vivienne asked under her breath.
She sighed as the realization of what she needed to do sank in. "I need to get rid of it, but first I should delete the data on it. Thankfully my profile and other stuff is saved on the motherboard back at the headquarters of F.S.I.G, so it should be alright till I get a new one. I should also install all kinds of strong firewalls and more protection to keep this from happening again," Vivienne stated firmly.
Now with that knowledge of what to do, Vivienne opened a compartment on the top of the headset. Inside was a button that would clear the data on the headset allowing the next user to make their own profile and do what they want on it. Vivienne gently pressed the button and in an instant all data inside was cleared right up. Now with that job finished Vivienne placed it on the floor, her chest tightening as she let go. Vivienne leaned down and kissed the headset lightly before sitting back up.
She stared at it morfully before saying, "goodbye you helped me through thick and thin, you made my school life fun. This wasn't how I wanted to say goodbye to you, but I can't risk being found by those bastards. I don't know if the virus was cleared up and I don't want to take any chances. So I'll leave you here and hopefully you'll be found and taken into a wonderful home."
After saying her goodbyes Vivienne began crawling to the back door of the house. "Alright now from what I've gathered about this part of the suburbs there's a forestline right behind this house. Once I'm outside I should go into the forest and make a Beeline for the otherside. It might take all night but if I'm quick I can make it to the otherside of the forest by morning. From the research I've done about this place while looking up the train station the other day, the other side of the forest should lead me closer to the train station. I didn't want to take that route because online forms say that the forest is home to bears, wolves, and snakes. But now I need to go through inorder to stay out of sight from that drone, the trees should be thick enough so it won't be able to see me. Once I'm through it'll possibly be a few hours of walking till I finally arrive at my destination. When I get there I should rest and find some food to eat. After that I'll get my train ticket and ditch this place," Vivienne told herself.
Vivienne soon reached the back door after she crawled through the next room which was the kitchen from the old table, chairs, and oven. She stood up straight, pushed the door open, creeping outside her eyes darting everywhere. Carefully Vivienne walked into the backyard of the abandoned house trying her best to be sneaky and quiet. She walked about ten feet and arrived at the forest line; pushing past the plants Vivienne walked in and resumed her journey. This time she hoped that she won't be interrupted and the rest of her journey will be safe with no wild animal attacks.
Unknowing how much time had passed Vivienne was still walking through the forest. She glanced up to the sky to try and guess the time of day, seeing the sky was starting to turn from deep black to a dark blue. "Hmm, the sun's coming up. Which explains why I feel so exhausted and sleep deprived. It's worth it though if I ever wish to be safe and sound, ugh, though I'm now regretting not stopping to sleep. But then again if I had done that and if agents from T.B.G.I had gotten to that house then I guess it was too dangerous," Vivienne implied, as she kept on walking.
