Morgana watched as Ella disappeared into the dense forest. A wicked smile twisted her lips, knowing the girl was now trapped by her own desires. It wasn't just a love potion; the true power of Merlin's book was now in her hands, and her plans for revenge were finally taking shape. She gestured to Hook, Ade, and Maleficent, who moved silently toward the edge of the lagoon where Morgana's two giant eels swam.
Without saying a word, Morgana brought the shell she wore around her neck to her lips and blew into it. A deep, resonant sound filled the air, and immediately the waters of the lagoon rippled. From the darkness emerged their refuge.
"Forward," Morgana said in a cold voice, walking toward the creature's entrance. The others followed, stepping one by one on the floating stones that served as the entrance path.
"Finally," Morgana said, approaching Red. "Our little prisoner is still here."
"Of course, did you doubt me, Morgana?" Yzma responded, proud to have completed her task.
Red looked up, casting a look of pure hatred at Morgana. "You will never get what you want," she hissed, trying to free herself from the chains. "Your magic will be of no use against me."
Hook chuckled, amused by her resistance, while Ade played with a flame in his hands. Maleficent watched the scene with a mix of amusement and indifference. "Ah, Red," said Ade, "your stubbornness is admirable. But you're the pawn here."
"Exactly," Morgana added with a sharp voice. "And now, thanks to you and Merlin's book, we can begin the true revenge."
Morgana turned to Hook, who had already started flipping through the grimoire. The ancient pages turned by themselves, revealing forbidden and ancient spells. Hook stopped at a page about food-related spells.
"Here we go," Hook said with satisfaction. "Enchanted treats."
"Perfect," Morgana added, rubbing her hands with enthusiasm. "These treats will have very special effects. Anyone who eats them at the school dance... will be under our control."
Yzma approached, curious. "Enchanted treats, huh? I like the sound of that. What effect will they have?"
Morgana made a vague gesture with her hand. "Oh, don't you remember the plan? It varies depending on the person. Some will lose their memory, others will become slaves to our will. And, as will happen with our little and naïve Bridgette, some might even turn into something... interesting." She turned to Hook. "Make sure they're ready in time for the Castle Caming tomorrow night."
Hook nodded, starting to prepare the ingredients while Maleficent and Ade watched closely. "And her?" Maleficent asked, glancing at the prisoner. "What do we do with this nosy one?"
Morgana approached Red, smiling. "Oh, Red isn't going anywhere. She's the key to our revenge against Bridgette. We'll keep her here... for now." Then, lowering her voice, she added, "And when the time is right, her sacrifice will complete the spell."
Red tried not to show fear, but she knew time was running out. She needed to find a way to escape before Morgana and her allies could carry out their plan.
As the henchmen prepared to leave the refuge to complete their mission, Morgana blew into the shell once more, and the lantern fish carcass slowly began to sink back into the lagoon's waters.
In the dark and silent forest, Ella walked briskly toward home, unaware of the figure hidden among the trees. The moon, barely visible through the foliage, cast long and unsettling shadows. The branches creaked under the weight of the wind, but Ella did not turn, focused on getting home as quickly as possible. However, the eyes watching her moved attentively, following every movement with silent interest. The tension grew as the mysterious observer remained hidden in the darkness, Ella's heart raced, and the forest seemed to breathe along with her.
