Boy v.s Shadow Lieutenant

At the very edge of Sentinel peaks, Max and the Shadow lieutenant Richard, standing face-to-face, they intensely stare at each other with fierce looks, both steadily waiting for the other to make the first move.

Then Richard quickly pulls back his whip then striking it towards Max, but he was able to dodge the strike and proceeded to charge towards Richard, but surprisingly when Max dodged the first strike, Richard used his whip to grab a rock and now pulls it back, attempting to hit Max from the back but Max ducked before it hit and then grabbed the whip and pulled Richard towards him. Richard was surprised by the strength this child was able to exert.Then when he got close , Max punched him directly at his face and knocked him back right at the edge.

After taking that punch, Richard stands back up with his face a bit bruised and blood dripping from his mouth. Richard wipes out the blood and shouts at Max saying "My, my, you're stronger than I thought, but let's see what else you can do!" , while maliciously grinning at Max then charging straight at him, Max prepares to counter Richard's attack but he dodges at the last second due to noticing Richard pulling out a hidden blade from his sleeves.

He Jumps back to get some distance but Richard continues to put pressure on Max, not giving him any time to think. As Max continues to keep dodging all of Richard's attacks, Max is getting pushed back towards the edge of the cliff, closer and closer, till there is nowhere to go.

Richard: I'm greatly disappointed in you, I really thought show me something, but instead all you do dodge and run.
Max: well it's hard to fight when you're fighting someone with a knife barehanded.
Richard: it's your fault for coming unarmed. Now die!

Richard lunges his blade at Max, but he was able to duck and kicked his blade up to the sky, then slide between Richard's legs, catching the blade and points directly at Richard, leaving Richard surprised that he was able to disarm and turn the tables on him. " It's over you lost!" Said Max with confidence, " oh really? You really thought I already lost?" Said Richard with certainty in his face. Max was confused, he was certain that he won, but then, suddenly!

GRIP!!

Out of nowhere Richard's whip wrapped around Max tightly, now with multiple small, sharp blades and a glowing purple aura all the whip, cutting and piercing through Max's flesh. Max screams in pain as his flesh gets cut all over "Aaaaggghhhh!", he stands there unable to move and writhing in pain as Richard approaches Max.

Richard: you stupid brat! You really thought you've won?
Max: H-how d-did you?
Richard: did what? This trick I did to you, haven't you heard of Neo Weapons before? Well I'll tell you, so you could learn a thing you incompetent fool. As you know, all living life contain a power called "Neo" in them, but not all can harness it. When harnessing "Neo" one could form it into a multitude of things, from the elements to physical objects, one could also imbue their energy onto weapons to enhance it's strength and durability, but Neo Weapons are different, they have special abilities and some doesn't consume the user of their and one can only obtain a Neo Weapon either from a Neo blacksmith or from ancient ruins. My weapon can be controlled remotely and produce blades out of it, I mostly use this ability to surprise my enemy or torture them, like this.

Richard clenches his hand and the whip holding Max tightens even more.

Max: Aaaaggghhhh!
Richard:hahahahahahaha!( maniacally). Look at yourself, thinking you could beat me , you're just a brat who could fight a little, ha! Now your stupid heroism is gonna cost you your.

Richard picks up his blade and raises it over Max. "This is the end for you."- said Richard before swinging his blade down at Max. When the blade is directly in front of his face everything started to slow down and Max began to recall everything weird that has happened to him, from gaining these mysterious powers, getting experimented by a person who you consider as family, to getting sent to a different world with your childhood friend and not knowing where she is and how is she doing. Max couldn't accept it, he couldn't accept to die here right now without finding Eleina and receiving answers from George.

A blazing blue fire started to burn in Max's heart and his eyes began glowing blue. Right before the blade struck him he was able to dodge it. Richard was left perplexed, that this  little boy still had some strength to dodge his attack, but he lunges forward and attempts to prohibit Max from doing anything. Then suddenly, with almost all of his strength left, even with the immense pain he is feeling, he continues to push through the pain and raises one of his legs, blue energy starts to gather on his foot.

"What the hell?" - said Richard from seeing what Max is doing. He tries to stop Max , but it was already too late, he smashes his foot on the ground creating a blue explosion, destroying a piece of the cliff they were standing on.

With the ground they were standing on destroyed, they started to fall towards The Endless Whirlpool , a section of Marinova's coastline where  it constantly has whirlpools that are strong enough to pull most  boats and sea creatures .

As they were falling, Richard was able to grab a hold of Max and yelled at him saying " Are you crazy?! You're willing to sacrifice yourself to kill?"  While Richard continues to yell at him , Max notices Richard's Blade and grabs it then striking Richard right at his left eye, he holds his left eye and screams in pain. Max was able to make Richard lose his grip on and then kicked him away.

After the very last struggle against Richard, Max crashes down on the water and gets pulled in by  the whirlpool, sending him deep underwater. Max slowly sinks down as he has used up all of his strength and leaves him thinking " Is this really the end? I still haven't found Eleina." After sinking for a bit he falls unconscious and finally reaches the bottom, but right under him was a mysterious circular structure with old rusted chains attached to it, holding it on the ground and a weird symbol on it that is covered all over by moss and seaweed, as if this was left here for thousands of years.
As Max lies there , tentacles suddenly come out of nowhere and reach towards Max. When one of the tentacles touched Max, it telepathically said " So this child holds within him the power of the Origin."
