The Voice within the Dream

On a windy day at Central Park, ten-year-old Max is sleeping on the grass quietly, and a voice can be heard calling for Max. "Maxy! Wake up!" Eleina yelled; Max, still drowsy, woke up from his nap yawning, "What do you want, Eleina?" Asked Max, "Come and play with me at the seesaw," replied Eleina while pulling at his arm. Max sighed and told Eleina to go ahead and he'll catch up. Eleina gleefully cheered and ran towards the seesaw. As Max walks towards Eleina, the ground suddenly starts to shake, the sky turns red, people run in a panic, and the entire area is in chaos. Max tries to run towards Eleina, but the ground in front of him starts to crack open and makes Max stumble back, and from the newly opened crack on the ground comes a humongous, beastly version of Doctor George White, with scales and eyes similar to a snake. The monster stands tall and gazes upon them, leaving the 10-year-old Max paralyzed and remembering all the experiments and torture he had gone through, his heart rate rises, and experiences difficulties in breathing, his body is sweating and trembling from fear, then suddenly, he saw Eleina, being held the monster, even though he is consumed by fear, he stands and shout "Put Eleina down you demon!" While also throwing a rock at it, unfortunately, it only causes it to irritate the monster,  making it retaliate back by striking the ground, sending Max flying and crashing at a tree. With his bones broken and coughing blood, Max just sits there, feeling helpless and thinking to himself " Why? Why?! Why can't I do anything? I'm so useless! Eleina is in the hands of that monster, and here I am sitting helplessly, but I can't let that bastard have Eleina; I won't let him, So F#$cking MOVE!"

As Max is struggling to move, the giant monster's other hand is reaching at Max, attempting to crush him. Max bellows loudly, forcing his whole body to move as he barely stands up while enduring immense pain, unfortunately, the monster's hand is already in front of him and is about to crush him. Max screams at the monster saying, " I will not die till I save Eleina and kill you, you bastard- before he can finish, he is crushed by the monster, "MAX!" Screamed Eleina as she witnessed her best friend die. The monster just grins as it enjoys the despair, but that grin turns to confusion as suddenly beams of blue light start to come out of his hand, and before it knows it, the entire area is engulfed by a massive explosion of light. Max, after somehow surviving and being able to release a massive attack that turned the giant monster into dust, falls to the ground with barely any consciousness left but still tries to save Eleina as she falls from the sky, and right before she hits the ground, he loses consciousness. But he hears a mysterious voice saying " CONTINUE IN THE PATH YOU FOLLOW, AND WITH YOUR POWERFUL WILL TO PUSH BEYOND, YOU WILL FIND WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR."

Then suddenly, Max awoke on a ship near the whirlpool he fell, bandaged and filled with pain all over his body. While Max is still in shock that it was all a dream, Princess Raiden hugs Max, feeling a sense of relief.

Max: Um, agh! Princess.. could you not hug me so tight? I still have wounds all over.
Raiden: oh, I'm sorry, I'm just glad you're ok.

Meanwhile, in a dark alleyway in the city, a man in a suit is drenched with his own blood and full of stab wounds; with his little strength left, he whispered, "prin-cess..."
