Marinova

Later, after 2 hours.....

After escaping the Bosque De Muerte( forest of death ) and travelling for hours, the group finally arrived in the coastal nation of MARINOVA.

Max: so this is Marinova?
Raiden: yup, it's said to be the greatest coastal nation in the whole continent.
Shuvuu: it's also famed for it's delicious and fresh seafood.
Max: huh... really?
Shuvuu: well that's enough dilly-dallying, how about we get going?
Max: uh.. right.

After finally they entered Marinova, they were met with surprised looks from the residents, both from seeing Max riding a black deer and the princess of Neoterra arriving.
The crowd started chat and whisper to one another, "look that kid is riding a black deer" said a man to his friend, " aight that type deer only found in the Bosque De Muerte " his friend replying back, while on the other side of the crowd, a woman whispered " hey look, that's princess raiden of Neoterra, right?", "yeah, I wonder why's the wild lightning princess just arrived, ain't the entire Neoterra royal family arrived earlier this morning?" reply from her friend. But as the crowd keeps mumbling among themselves, Max  heard all of it.

Max:"hmmm..the wild lightning princess, i wonder what's that about?"(in his thoughts)
Shuvuu: hey Max, how about you and her highness look around the city while I report back to her parents.
Max:umm..sure thing!

Shuvuu dropped off Raiden and Max near the market and went to the castle of MARINOVA. The two wondered around the market, eating different seafood and buying unique trinkets ( Note: Raiden paid for all of it since Max doesn't have any money ).

Max: "munch munch"
Raiden: seems like you're enjoying yourself.
Max: I sure am "munch", I've never eaten seafood "munch", so delicious before.

But, as the two of them were enjoying themselves, they heard a woman screaming for help.

Ahhhhh! Heeelp me!

They ran towards the cry for help and saw a pirate holding a young lady hostage, a gun pointed directly at her head.

Pirate: none of y'all get a step closer ya hear me! Or I'll blow her head!
Young lady: Eeekkk! Someone save me!

The guards that have arrived can't do a single thing, if they try to apprehend the pirate it will only endanger the hostage. They were locked in a stalemate, both waiting for any opportunity to struck.

Raiden: That rotten pirate, using a civilian as a hostage. If I could, i would knock that scoundrel and make him pay.
Max: Here, hold my food for a sec.
Raiden: Huh? Wait a moment, what are you gonna do?

Max raised his barbeque stick towards the pirate and tossed it at him. Going through a hoard of people, precisely hitting the hand of the pirate that was holding the gun. With this opportunity, the hostage was able to break free from the pirate's grasp.

Pirate: ahhhhh! Who the hell threw tha-?

Before he could finished his sentence, the guards surrounded  and captured the pirate before he could do anything.

After this little incident, Max and Raiden left and wondered around the other parts of the city. They stopped by a city map to look where they could go next.

Raiden: Hmmm... Which one should we go next?
Max: !! ( Saw something interesting on the map)
Max: Sentinel peak?
Raiden: Its a famous tourist spot here in Marinova. Towering cliffs overlooking the ocean, rumored to be the resting place of an ancient guardian. The site offers breathtaking views and mystique, drawing curious adventurers.
Max: hmm.. how about we go have a look for our selves?
Raiden: sure that's a fine idea.

As they turn around, about to go to Sentinel peaks, they were surrounded by a group of hooded figures. Princess Raiden suddenly noticed that these hooded figure were dawning the Voidwatcher's Emblem on there clothes. "It's them , the people I told that attached me near the forest, I think it's wise for us to find a way to escape instead of facing them head on"- whispered Raiden to Max.

From the crowd of Voidwatcher soldiers, a man in a dark and armored clothing and long messy hair approached the two.

???: Princess Raiden, it's a pleasure to meet.
Raiden: who are you? What do you want from me?
???: sorry for not introducing myself first, I'm Richard Booman the First lieutenant of The Shadow.
Raiden: Th-the shadow!
Max: Princess, what's wrong?
Raiden: They're apart of shadow, one of the four division within the Voidwatchers. It's job is to gather intel, kidnap people, infiltrate or silence anybody that gets in there way.
Richard: Correct princess, and the reason we're here is for you, Princess Raiden Ebonheart!
Max & Raiden:!!
Richard: If you could be so kind  to give yourself up and don't try to call for help , we made sure of no one will come.
Max: And what if don't want to?
Richard:( his mood change from being confident to serious) then, you leave us with no choice ( draws his whip like weapon). Kill that brat and leave the princess alive!
Max: get out of here and ru-!

But before they could do anything, Max was hit with some kind of powder, thrown by one of the soldiers.

Max: ugghhh! Wh-what is this?

As Max is struggling to resist the effects of the mysterious power he was hitted with, one of the took Raiden away ," hey stop! Let me go!" Screamed Raiden as she tries to fight back.

Max: hey, let her g-.

Before he could attempt to save Raiden, a knife narrowly missed Max's face.

VS: where do you think you're going? (Note: VS means Voidwatcher soldiers)

With multiple Voidwatcher soldiers in front of him and the effects of the weird powder still weakening him, Max is unable to stop Richard from taking Raiden.

Then one of the Voidwatcher soldiers grabbed him from behind and another one put a knife right at his face.

Meanwhile, Raiden ous tied up and being carried off somewhere by the Shadow lieutenant.

Raiden:let go! Let go! Do you what will happen to if you continue to do this to me?!
Richard: oh princess you don't scare me, I'm part of the most notorious group in the whole continent. What's a single kingdom gonna do to me?(said with a wicked smile)
Richard: And don't worry, once we arrive at sentinel peak ,a pickup team will arrive to take you and once that happens, you'll never see the people you love ever. Hahahahaha!
Raiden: "No!, Please someone Save me!"- said in her thoughts.
