Sarina posted an instagram story of her studying.
"I love you i'm sorry, you were the best, but you were the worst. As sick as it sounds... I LOVED YOU FIRST."
As Gaile was swiping through Instagram stories, it wasn't long until she stumbled upon Sarina's.
As Gaile was close to the place where Sarina was studying, she decided to walk there.
As Gaile entered the cafe, she saw Sarina seating there taking notes.
"Sari." Gaile called out.
Sarina looked up, and saw Gaile.
After looking at her, she looked down once again.
"Anong kailangan mo, Gael?" Sarina asked, with a cold and stern voice.
"I want to talk to you."
"Pwes ako ayaw ko. Kaya umalis ka na, busy ako." Sarina answered.
"What happened to us?" Gaile asked.
"Ikaw pa talaga nag tanong, Gael?" Sarina answered, while dropping the things she were doing.
"Osige, sasagutin ko..." Sarina said, while inhaling.
"When i asked you... kung kelan yung next time, you said that there would never be another next time. You know what, Gael? I badly wanted it to be you. i badly wanted to make you mine, ga. But when i heard your words, my heart was shattered into a million pieces, cause you told me 'maybe next time' when there's no next-times. I waited, and waited, Gael. Pinaasa mo ako. Pinamukha mo'kong tanga. Tas tatanungin mo ngayon "what happened to us?"" Sarina answered, almost everybody in the cafe stared at them.
"Maybe in another universe, Sarina."Gaile said.
"Well why not this universe, Gael?" Sarina asked.
"Why can't we stay as friends, Sarina?" Gael asked, disregarding Sarina's question.
"Cause i can't settle being friends, WITH THE GIRL I LOVE MOST." Sarina answered, tears dropped as she said the last word.
"Sarina..."
"I need space, Gael. Please." Sarina said. Packing up her things.
Gael stood there, while watching her bestfriend leave.
Gael's tears started dropping.
"I'm sorry, sari." Gaile said silently as Sarina stormed out the cafe.
Gaile ran out the cafe, and to the nearest shelter: the dance studio.
She opened the studio's doors, and proceeded inside.
When everything feels heavy, this is the place i go to.
But when everything feels heavy, the person i felt safe with the most was no longer here.
