chapter six

Stan was still trying to beat Bill. He only stopped after the kid had let out that agonizing scream. Then he realized two things. That first: he didn't even hit him and second: the demon had fainted, his dark hair hanging over his now closed eyes. Stan backed off and fell on his behind.

„What happened?" Mabel and Dipper said in union. Both of them had only see Stan hitting Bill, then heard the unhuman scream. Because the older Pine twins were infront of them, the two couldnt really see what was going on. They had not heard the fist reaching its target either. Mabel at this point was emotionally crushed. She was so happy about being back in Gravity Falls and not even the first evening was a normal one. It was so full of brutality already. She wanted Bill dead too, but she just couldn't believe that he had really returned. And it was so weird to her that he now had a human form. Dipper looked as shocked as her.

Bills body began to shiver. A humming filled the whole room, infecting the machines, made them beep louder and uncontrolably. It got a lot colder in the lab to the point of freezing. Mabel and Dipper inched closer together, watching what was happening. Their breath formed clouds in the air. Stan and Ford both pulled out a gun, Stan a normal one and Ford a special one. A different one from before. Bill slowly raised his head then opened his eyes. They were shining green. Something none of the pines had ever seen before. Bill, the demon of dreams and posession, was now posessed himself.

"Allow me to introduce myself to you." It was Bills voice. But something was mixed inbetween there, a womans voice. "My name is Mary, I am Bills therapist and I come in peace. If you want a deal on that then we can do that, no problem." When she saw the horrified faces of memories from past mistakes, she knew that would not happen.

"It was my idea to have Bill return to earth- as a human this time. I want him to learn what it is like to have emotions. I want him to open up about his past trauma again, as he has done to you already, mr. Pines.", Bills head turned to Ford, "He has already made great progress and I want him to keep continuing. But he was not able to speak about it with me, because he doesnt trust me enough. You need to help me to find out what is torturing him. I have him under control in the Theraprism and you are the key of redeeming him. Only through that will you ever fully get rid of Bill Cipher."

This was getting weirder and weirder by the second. "Was this just some trick of Cipher?" Ford thought. But then why would he not just use his powers. Why would he be this invested in a scam when he could have use completely different methodes. Ford did not trust a thing this Mary was saying, if Mary even existed and was not just a scam to confuse them all.

"Get him back into the Theraprims. We do not want him here!'' This time it was Mabel speaking. At first her voice was shacky but then firm. She looked at those green eyes with absolute disgust. They werent yellow as Bills were, but they still reminded her of the time that Dipper was being posessed. She still blamed herself for not noticing sooner. Coming back to Gravity Falls didnt just bring happy memories with it. She had promised herself, that something similar would never happen again.

At this Bill- or Mary sounded desperate now. "When he wakes up he will have no memory of me telling you this, but if you dont do this, and he doesnt get redeemed he will destroy not only your universe, but many others with it. And there my powers fail. I can show you the prophecy. The oracle herself showed me this. Ford, you know she is trustworthy."

Mary did not wait for a reply. Ford imidietaly fainted.

Ford was viewing the situation from above. He saw the old Bill, the triangular form, in what he could only assume was a cell. . Probably in the Theraprism. Bill wore an orange inmate uniform. He had some cracks running over his body. He looked insane, like he hadnt slept in days (does he need sleep?). His eye was read, bloodshot. Ford didnt even know that that was possible. Next to Bill there was a weird static. It looked the way white noise sounds (Will Wood reference?). It flew only inches above the ground and shimmered in a kind of green light which filled the whole room. The room or cell in general was very depressing.The walls looked like they were made out of some kind of energy. When looking at them from the side of the eye they looked like the same static as the thing being in the room with Bill. There was a tabel, on it some papers and pens. Everywhere around lay drawings and writings from Bill. Ford knew they were from Bill because he recognized his handwriting. This time it looked much more stressed and panicky, very different from what Bill had written in Fords journals. Only then did he realize that the triangle was shacking. From what, Ford did not know. Then the static began to speak, it was the same voice as Mary had.

''Bill please, you need to open up about you past. You didnt want to go to the Pines so you need to talk to me so I can help you and work it all out." She- or it said. Ford now wasnt so sure about Marys gender anymore, seeing she had no physical form. Does something like that even have a gender? It was hard telling Bills gender already.

Bill was getting visibly angry, his color changing to red. He let out a furious scream, growing stronger.

„What- How even? Your powers-?" Mary backed off , away from Bill. Her voice sounded scared. Bill didn't answer the question. He just continued growing and growing and growing. Shortly before filling the whole room he finally stopped. Then a laser shot out of Bills eye and made a hole through the energy wall. Mary whimpered in pain, the walls seemed to be connected to her, like they were a part of her.

Bill grew his hands, balled them into fists, enflamed them with his blue fire and beat down upon Mary. She screamed again, but after every beat she grew quieter. Bill not once stopped or slowed down. When there were no sound coming from Mary anymore, the walls were slowly fading and Bill finally stopped. Were there once were walls you could now see other demons, monsters and other disgusting and dangerous creatures being freeed. Some of them Ford has met because of his journey through different dimensions. Some had sworn to one day find and destroy him. Ford had been convinced that all these beings were dead, but no, he now understood that they could never fully be killed. He now understood why redemption was so important and why the theraprism was so neccesarry.

Bill now called out to the others. He talked about wanting to take over all the dimensions, all the planets, to destory everything that did all of them wrong. He talked about starting with Gravity Falls and that all monsters that would follow him would become the greatest rulers of the world. The monsters roared in agreement, some high pitched, some making the earth shake. Then Bill turned to Ford and looked him directly in the eyes. He now looked more vibrant than ever before. He didnt wear the uniform anymore because it had ripped when Bill started expanding. Also the cracks over his body were gone. He had his bowtie and walking stick back and his eye was shining brightly.

"I'll start with you, Sixer~" None of the other monsters have heard that, but none of them cared either way. They were free now and had new things to destroy.

Ford woke up shaking, his mind replaying the words Bill just said to him. Dipper, Mabel and Stan were surrounding him, looking down on him, worried. He got up, holding his head with his right hand. The old man couldnt believe what he had just seen.

"Are you okay? What happened?" Dipper asked, concern in his voice.

Ford didnt reply, he needed answer. "What does this mean?", Ford asked, the question directed to Bill whose eyes were still glowing greenish, so Mary was still with them.

"It means that if we cant redeem Bill Cipher he will take over the universe, and all other beings I have captured will follow him. I am trying my best to keep his powers hidden from him, I dont know how much longer I can take this, so please, help him understand humanity. Make him redeem."
