CHARGE IT TO THE GAME

Jude had been having the worst game of his life since joining Madrid all thanks to Gavi .It was like the young Man was taking revenge on him for what happened earlier. He did not give him a chance to breath. And when the guy was substituted in the 84th minute, Jude took that opportunity to score and Madrid ended up winning that game 1-0.

‘Vamooooos’ Vini lifts Jude up as they entered the locker room

‘Jude is on fireee” the rest of his teammates sing as they pop Champagne celebrating the win.

Winning El clasico was a big deal for the two rivals. It meant making their fans ten times happier and getting street credibility.

And Jude was a very happy man. As much as he regretted how he had talked to Gavi earlier he couldn’t help but be happy to get the 3 points and hurt Gavi even more.

‘So, how did the talk with Jude go?’

Pedri asks as he cuddled up with his boyfriend at his apartment. It was no secret knowing that a Barcelona loss affected his boyfriend more than it did anybody else, especially an ‘el clasico’

‘It was okay” he lies

’I can feel you stiffen up baby, what really happened?’

Gavi gets up from lying on his boyfriends lap and fidgets

“Okay, don’t freak out but he was kind of mean to be ’Gavi says teary eyed

“What did he say??’

‘everythin g to deliberately hate my feelings’ Gavi says holding pedris hand ’but its okay, at least I tried I makje amends and now its all up to him…..’

Before he could finish however, Pedris phone an starts ringing and he answeres ibstrtly.

“uhhmm, are you drunk?...ooh..okay…..where?? iam coming there okay…”

Gavi frowns as he listens in on Pedris call.

Pedri signs then hangs up the phone

‘Ughmm baby, as much as I would like to listen to this, Ferran needs me” He gets up and doesn’t even wait for Gavis response before he gets our the door.

Gavi was furious. It was always w ferraN. If there was a top 5 list of people Pedri loved outside of his family, it will probably be ferran, ferran,ferran,ferran then Gavi. Not that Gavi was jealous, or maybe he was. It just pissed him off how no matter what Gavi was going through, Pedri would always chose ferran over him. Well he was his best friend but till it was a lot. Gavi can remember when he had a toothache and pedri promised to go with him to the dentist but coincidentally, ferran had broken up with his girlfriend and needed pedri with him, or when he promised to pick Gavi up one day for training and he forgot because ferran apparently Wanted to be picked up too and pedri then just forgot Gavis entire existence. He had no problem with Pedri having a best friend on the team, hell he also had fermin, but he wished some days he would be a priority.

When Pedri arrived at the club, Ferran was drunk as a skunk. He went over to him an d gave him a big hug. They have been best friends since 2019 , he was practically his brother and he felt all the need in the world to protect him. Recently, the Barcelona fans have not been kind to him and if anybody took s picture of him this drunk at a club, things may just become worse.

As he was holding on to ferran trying to make the other stand up so they can walk to his car, he heard an un mistakable accent.

‘Do you need help?’

‘Sure’ Pedri says without thinking. If Bellingham of all people was offering help despite what happened with him and his boyfriend, he was going to take it so that ferran can be taken home safe.

‘Your friend had one too many I see” Bellingham says trying to hold the conversation

‘Clearly” Answers Pedri coldly.

That was enough to shut Jude up.

After safely getting ferran in the car, who at this point had fallen asleep and was snoring, pedri goes to Jude3 to thank him.  As Jude walks back to the club however, Pedri runs up to Him.

‘Hey Jude’

"Well"

‘All Gavi wants to do is apologies to you and i don’t know what you said or did but you made him cry an d I do not tolerate  my boyfriend being unhappy at anybody’s expense especially yours”

Jude looks at him bewildered and just proceeds to get in the club.

JUDE:

Hey,

sorry for what I said earlier today, I don’t know what came over me but if you would like for us to meet any day our busy schedules allow, I am down.

Ps; I am not sorry for the goal though, you losers deserved to love.

Gavi was about to go to bed when he got that Instagram DM notification and was surprised to see it was from Jude. He looked at it for what seemed like forever and couldn’t help but giggle at the last part. He just turned off his phone and fades to sleep.

The message from Jude remained unanswered a week later. He was not immature to block him even after all that the other boy said but at the same time he did not want to talk to him. He was still mad that Jude had the audacity to block him that one time because that was a bit childish and he wasn’t going to encourage that behavior.

On the other hand, he was also pissed at Pedri for talking to Bellingham on his behalf. He felt that Judes message wasn’t Genuine and even though he hadn’t told Pedri that Jude had texted him, he had a feeling that that text only came about due to that encounter. On top of that, he was also secretly mad at Pedri for just leaving with no explanation that other day.

And by the time the second message from Jude came on Gavis phone, he was over it.
