"There was no reason for me to come for that," Alec grumbled, slamming his mug on the counter after downing his drink. "Ya needed no backup. Ya just walked around and wiggled yer wand over random spots."
"You know what the spots were," Theo shook his head. The whiskey was smooth going down and it was making him feel more relaxed than usual. Alec decided they needed a night out, since Theo was to just report back to Hogwarts once gathering the ancient magic was complete. They went to a small town that was, surprisingly, filled with muggles. There was a mix really, one of the pubs that lead you into the wizarding world, but only if you knew how to get there.
The pub was nearly empty, aside from Theo, Alec, and a group of muggles who were all laughing and giggling in the back corner. Some looked Theo's age, some looked Alec's age.
Alec's gaze kept sliding over and Theo watched as his grumpy scowl slowly turned into a mischievous grin.
"Heads up," he murmured, and Theo frowned as he took another drink of his mug.
"Hi, boys."
Theo turned quickly to find two of the girls from the back table had walked up behind him. He must have been more buzzed than he'd thought, considering he hadn't heard them approach.
One had long blonde hair that she wore down, the other's red hair was pulled up into a bun. Both looked confident as they looked the boys over, and Theo felt the need to finish the whiskey that was in his mug suddenly, gulping it down quickly.
"My friends and I were wondering if you'd like to join us?" The blonde gestured to the table of boys and girls behind her in that corner, who were all starting to stand to leave.
"Where would we be goin'?" Alec asked with a sly grin.
"There's a place, not too far from here. Drinks, games and... private places to.. Get to know one another." The red head said, her eyes taking in Alec as she smirked.
"Fuck, yes," Alec grinned, slamming some money on the counter and wrapping his arm around the girl's shoulder. "C'mon Hawke, let's go party," He said and Theo put his mug down and stood, pausing as the room spun for a moment.
"You alright?"
He looked at the blond who was watching him. She had kind eyes, a dark brown that reminded him of some of the sweets he'd seen from honeydukes.
He nodded as he started to follow his friend, before feeling the blonde's arms wrap around one of his. Her hand settled on his bicep, and she gave what sounded like an appreciative hum that had him stirring in his trousers.
"How far-" he cleared his throat, not liking how high his voice had came out. "How far is this place?" He asked, walking behind Alec and the redhead who were already in a deep sort of conversation.
"Just about 800 meters," she answered easily, and he could feel her gaze on him, but he stared ahead. What was happening? He didn't know this girl, why was she hanging on him? And why was he so aroused by it?
"It's a really cool place," the girl started talking, evidently not wanting to walk in silence. Her voice was smooth and confident, and Theo didn't mind her taking the lead in conversation. "Theres a cave behind a water fall, and there's little areas dug into the sides of the mountains that are almost like rooms. There's going to be drinks, and music and a bon fire-" she told him as they walked. Theo listened intently, her voice soothing him slightly, yet his heart rate wouldn't stop its erratic pace.
