A/N THIS IS A COMBINATION OF THE CHAPTERS "Would you please have mercy on my heart" AND "For you, I'll always be waiting."

Theo gritted his teeth, trying to push past the throbbing pain in the back of his head as he gripped and tried to claw at Podex's hands, currently gripping the front of his shirt as he slammed him back against the wall. Repeatedly.

"You. Do. Not. Use. Magic. In. The. Muggle. World." Podex snarled each word, punctuated with the wall slamming.

"I didn't know!" Theo spat. He was angry and scared and in pain. "I didn't even mean to use it! It just happened."

Podex stopped slamming him, holding him up by his shirt still.

"Right... You need to learn control," he muttered to himself before letting Theo drop. Theo staggered, falling back against the wall and rubbing at the back of his neck where his shirt had dug into before rubbing the back of his head, which throbbed He was surprised he wasn't bleeding. Once he caught his breath, he glanced up to see that Podex had dragged two chairs over. He set one in front of Theo, and one next to Theo. Podex sat in the one across from him and gestured for Theo to sit in the other one.

He looked at him, untrusting. Podex was never polite for no reason. Thinking this was a random act of kindness didn't sit right with Theo, but after inspecting the chair and finding nothing wrong, he slowly sat in it.

"If you use magic outside of the school you will go to, you are marked. We do NOT need the ministry poking around here."

"The ministry..?" Theo asked and flinched when Podex brought his hand up. But it seemed he'd only raised it to pinch the bridge of his nose, as if reaching for patience to deal with Theo and his questions.

"The Ministry of Magic is basically the government for the magical world in the UK." He explained. "And I don't need them shoving their nose into my business. They usually refuse to delve into muggle affairs, and I've worked hard to make this orphanage is ran as a muggle practice."

Theo's brows furrowed. "Muggles?"

"Merlin, God, 'muggle' means non magic, why has no one taught you this yet?!" He growled.

"Like who?!" Theo shot back.

"Silencio."

Theo ground his teeth. This had happened before, this is the spell that silenced him. Podex usually used it on him when he was forcing him to practice his ancient magic, which was brought about by sending painful slicing spells on him.

"You have to control your magic, is my point here. Wherever you feel it originate from, you must control it. In fact, that's in regard to everything. You have to master it. You have to control it. Everything. Emotions, actions, reactions."

Theo's eyes widened when he felt himself suddenly strapped down to the chair he was in. Invisible binds, set without words or a spell.

"You look scared. Control your fear. Control your emotions. Control it." He said, right before his wand tip glowed a bright red that looked like hot coals in a fire. He brought it towards Theo's face, causing Theo to lean back.

'STOP' He tried to scream but no sound came out.

"Control. it." Podex said.

Another spell had his head forced into place. He was utterly trapped, unable to move as Podex brought his wand closer, slowly. Tauntingly slow. Theo could feel the heat of it.
