This is a comination of the end of "I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved" and "you're already the voice inside my head."
"Grace?"
He entered the shared bedroom, wondering if she was in there. Everyone else was up and about, but Theo had yet to see Grace today. He was scared that she was in the basement with Podex, but to his immense relief, she was still in bed.
The relief ended quickly though when he saw she'd taken all the blankets off the other beds to pile on herself. She was shivering uncontrollably and looked pale, as Theo neared her, concern etched on his face.
"Grace?"
"Hi," she said weakly. He reached down and touched her forehead. She was burning up and sweating, her eyes barely open, staring at him. "You should probably stay away; I might get you sick." She told him.
Theo shook his head, crouching down by the side of the bed. "No.. I'll stay. Keep you company."
"But I wanna sleep.."
"So sleep, you don't have to keep me company, I'm here to keep you company until this passes. What all hurts?"
"Everything." She groaned, closing her eyes. "Feels like my bones hurt and my skin is freezing."
"You're not freezing, you're warm." Theo said with a frown.
"No.. I'm cold," she murmured, still shivering beneath all the blankets.
Theo chewed on his lip, knowing that Podex had some type of bottles in the basement that he took when he started feeling sick. Theo wondered if they'd help Grace at all. "Here... I'll be right back, okay?"
She nodded weakly, not opening her eyes. "I might be asleep when you get back."
"Good, get some rest." He told her before leaving the room. Podex was supposed to be gone for the afternoon, but that didn't really mean he was gone. He told lies all the time to keep the children here out of his hair, and Snape wasn't there either that day.
He quickly managed to get to the basement door, opening and closing it behind him before slowly trailing downstairs. He hated this place, the basement was the place he absolutely hated to go to, but from his times that Podex was experimenting with his ancient magic, Theo had watched the man.
The basement, thankfully, was empty and Theo moved towards the cabinet that held the potions. There was a green one and a red one. He'd watched Podex use the green ones on himself when he'd slice himself, usually to use his own blood for some type of experimentation, and since Grace didn't have any wounds, Theo doubted that one would help. So he reached up and grabbed a red one before quickly climbing the stairs out of the basement. As he closed the door, he walked through the entry way towards the bedrooms when the front door was thrown open.
Podex stepped inside. He barely gave Theo a glance before turning in the direction Theo had just came from. Theo sprinted for the bedroom now. If Podex noticed one of his potions gone, Theo wanted to make sure Grace at least had drank it before he came looking.
As he entered the room, he found Grace was asleep.
Theo felt guilty as he shook her awake but he wanted to help her. Take care of her. She groaned and looked up at him.
"Drink this," he whispered, unstoppering the vial and holding it to her lips.
"What is that..?"
