The Terrifying Truth

The two women were walking on foot, but the boys decided to instead ride the carriage so they don't leave it behind. Once they arrive, Derek is suddenly suspicious. "Ladies, forgive me for being skeptical, but why do your dresses look ripped?" He asked. "Huh? Oh, we went for a walk in the woods. Got caught in a few thorns, we did." Said Sybil. "Then why didn't you just change them?" Asked Paul. "We were going to, but on our way back to our place, we saw you two. Obviously you both looked like you needed help." Said Zora. "Point taken." Said Derek.

After feeling more at ease, the boys enter Zora and Sybil's lair. "Now if you'll just wait here, we'll be right back." Sybil said. "You may have a seat if you wish." Zora said. Instead of exiting the room, the sisters move to the front. Once they're out of earshot, Paul's eyes widen when he sees where they are.

"Paul, you look like you just saw a ghost." Derek said. "I recognize this place!" Paul said. "You do?" Asked Derek. "Yes! This is the All Star Club! The lads and I used to perform here when we came to Hamburg!" Said Paul. "How long ago was that?" Derek asked. "Starting in 1960, then to 1962. You remember the Cavern, don't you?" Paul asked. "Sure I do, you and Amanda used to stay there until you got married." Said Derek. "I'm so glad you remember that." Said Paul.

Derek becomes more suspicious once he takes in his surroundings. "Okay, this is kinda creepy." He said. "What? Oh dear, there's cobwebs everywhere." Paul said. "And I'm pretty sure I just saw a spider crawling across the floor. Glad it's nothing like the one Odette and I saw in Fang's lair." Derek said. "Pardon?" Asked Paul. "We got attacked by a huge spider while trying to see what Fang was up to during our trip to Cathay. It spat webs at us." Said Derek.

Paul cringes. "When was this?" He asked. "Before you and Amanda reunited, that's for sure. Mei Li and Chen planned to get married, but Fang wanted Chen for herself." Derek said. "Blimey. And just look at all this furniture!" Paul said. "They look busted up. Why would Zora and Sybil bring us to a place that looks abandoned?" Asked Derek.

"Now that's an excellent question." Said Zora as she and Sybil return. When the boys notice the women in front of them, they gasp. Sybil has taken off her jacket, and her entire left arm is nothing but bones. Zora's right hand is bony just like her sister's, and both of their faces look as if they're rotting. "And so it begins." Said Sybil with a smirk.

Horrified expressions appear on Paul and Derek's faces. "Derek... are you seeing this?" Asked Paul. "Oh, I see it alright. Sybil and Zora are..." Derek began. "Dead!!" The boys said in unison. "You catch on quick, gentlemen." Zora said. "I thought I smelled a rat." Paul said. "Might wanna make that two rats, Paul. I knew something was up with them from the moment I saw those tears in their dresses." Said Derek.

"You said you wanted to help us!" Yelled Paul as he stopped being afraid. "Ha! We only wanted you to stay here so we can do our unfinished business." Sybil said. "What 'unfinished business'?" Derek asked. "Fifty years ago, Sybil and I made a living dissecting human brains. But our boss kicked us out of the lab after realizing we did it for evil purposes." Said Zora. "This just got creepier." Said Derek. "Instead of lashing out at the boss, we decided to make our own business of brain dissections, that way no one can stop us from doing so." Said Sybil

Paul puts his hand on his chest after a slight gag. "I think I'm gonna throw up." He said. "We're not done talking." Sybil said with her arms crossed. "Fine, fine, continue." Paul said. "One dreadful night, there was an accident. While I was trying to dissect one brain, we smelled something unusual." Zora said. "Was it the brain, dare I ask?" Derek asked.

Zora rolls her eyes. "No, it wasn't the brain. It turned out we accidentally neglected one of our experiments." She said. "What kind of experiment?" Asked Paul. "Sorry, we can't tell you that. All we can say is it exploded while we were in the lab. No matter how hard we tried to stop it, nothing worked." Said Zora. "After the explosion, the chemicals burned our bodies. Need I say they were third degree burns?" Asked Sybil. "I don't know what brain dissecting is, but there's no way we're letting you take ours!" Said Derek.

Before the boys could make a run for it, the two corpses appear in front of them in an instant. "How did they do that?" Paul asked. "You're not going anywhere!" Sybil said. She pushes a button on a remote she's holding, then a trapdoor opens underneath. Derek gets out of the way, but Paul falls down. "Paul!! Why are you doing this?!" Derek asked as his worry becomes anger. "My, my, King Derek. We didn't realize you were such a tough nut." Zora said.

The corpses slowly walk towards Derek, who backs away. "Stay back! Don't come any closer!" He said. "You needn't be afraid, little king. We won't hurt you... much." Said Zora. "I mean it, stay away from me!" Cried Derek. "Are you sure you're a king? I don't recall seeing one so young." Said Sybil.

Derek hits his back against a wall. "I may be young, and I may have been surprised about being king so soon. But who's to say I can't ignore my duties?" He said as his tough side returns. "Oh, that's easy! Us!" Zora said. She pushes a button on another remote, causing Derek to fall down another trapdoor, one he couldn't escape from this time.

"What do we do now, Zora?" Sybil asked. Zora shrugs. "Wait, I know what we can do! Why don't we flirt with them for a bit?" She asked. "I like the way you think. I'll give you King Derek." Said Sybil. "I kinda wanted him anyway. So that means Prince Paul is yours." Said Zora. Sybil nods. "If they reject us, we'll proceed with our dissection plan." She said. Zora shakes hands with her sister.
