Chapter 3

Wednesday

The rest of the week flew by in a blur of school assignments, study sessions, and friendly chatter with Zainab (Zeebu), Hafsah (Amrah), and Aisha (Baby). Amina's days were filled with the usual routine: waking up early, attending classes, and spending time with her friends during lunch breaks.

On Wednesday, Amina's teacher, Mrs. Hassan, assigned a group project in their Environmental Science class. Amina was paired with her friends to work on a presentation about sustainable development. They spent their lunch break brainstorming ideas and dividing tasks among themselves.

Zeebu suggested they focus on renewable energy sources, while Amrah recommended exploring sustainable agriculture practices. Baby, meanwhile, was keen on discussing waste management and reduction strategies. Amina suggested they combine all these ideas into a comprehensive presentation.

After lunch, Amina attended her math class, where they reviewed algebraic equations. She struggled to understand the concepts, but her teacher, Mr. Ali, offered extra support during office hours.

After school, Amina headed to the library to work on her individual assignments. She spent hours researching and typing away on her laptop, taking breaks only to grab a snack or chat with her friends.

Thursday

The next day, Amina and her friends worked on their group project during lunch. They discussed their ideas, created an outline, and assigned tasks to each member. Amina was in charge of researching sustainable energy sources, while Zeebu focused on sustainable agriculture, Amrah explored waste management, and Baby worked on the presentation's introduction and conclusion.

After lunch, Amina attended a study session for her English Literature class. They discussed Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, analyzing the themes and characters. Amina was fascinated by the tragic love story and actively participated in the discussion.

After school, Amina and her friends decided to grab some ice cream at a nearby café. They spent the evening chatting and laughing, enjoying each other's company.

Friday

On Friday, Amina finished her individual assignments and reviewed her notes for the upcoming tests. She felt confident about her progress and was relieved to have completed her tasks ahead of schedule.

During lunch, Amina and her friends rehearsed their presentation, ensuring they stayed within the time limit and covered all the key points. They also discussed their outfits for the charity gala on Saturday, excited to dress up and enjoy the evening.

As she packed her bag to leave school, Amina couldn't help but think about the charity gala on Saturday. She was excited to attend the event with her father and learn more about the causes supported by Sheikh Al-Fayed.

"Tomorrow is Saturday," she thought to herself, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. "I'll finally get to attend the charity gala and see what it's all about."

And with that, Amina headed home, looking forward to a restful evening and a memorable Saturday.
