Cooper Jones is an upcoming character in the 2024 supernatural comedy story Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. He is the neighbor and schoolmate of Astrid Deetz.
Personality: Cooper is a fun-loving jock with experience in hockey, baseball, and golf. Despite this, though, Cooper harbors a feeling of powerlessness when his sister died of cancer and lost some of his confidence after he completely tore his AC ligament and slightly tore his CC ligament in a hockey match.
Appearance: Cooper is described as a not-bad-looking boy with short brown hair that's always untidy and blue eyes. He stands at 5'09" and is in his mid-teens. For most of the story, he wears his black leather jacket over a white hooded sweater with a sports number 12 on the chest, black ripped jeans and old combat boots. His most prominent features are some light freckles on his nose and a scar over his right eyebrow. He also wears a golf bag that holds his golf clubs, aluminum baseball bats, carbon fiber hockey stick and hockey pucks. When he fights zombies or other monsters, Cooper wears a special skull-themed hockey mask his sister gave him.

Role in the Story: With his streetsmarts combined with his knowledge as playing center for his hockey team, shortstop for baseball, and participating in golf, Cooper serves as a sports warrior who's dealing with the death of his sister from cancer. And since he got hurt, he doesn't start off as confident as he once was, and is bullied by his old teammates since he got hurt, but he gains his confidence again as he joins the Deetz family in saving Astrid. He's a huge fan of Lydia's television show.
