Hold You In The Sky

Chapter 3

"Ate, what do you think I should wear?" maarteng tanong ng kapatid ko. "Kahit ano naman isuot mo panget ka pa rin." pangaasar ko. "Wow, ate literal na nasa loob talaga ang kulo mo... Kairita ka nagtatanong ako ng maayos eh." sagot niya habang padabog na sinara ang closet niya. "Pahiram ako ng setting spray mo." nakangiting sambit ko sa kanya na lalo niyang kinainis. "Oh, kaya pala nandito ka sa room ko may kailangan ka nanaman sa akin ganyan naman kayong mga tao sa bahay na ito napapansin niyo lang ako kapag may kailangan kayo." pag-iinarte ng OA. "Eli, hindi bagay sayo please itigil mo... and thank you for this aalis na ako baka kung ano pa sumanib sayo." sagot ko at agad ako pumunta sa kwarto ko.

Kailangan kong ayusin ang sarili ko for the event later. It was not my first time meeting the possible guests of the event but every time I'm on this situation I'm always bit nervous and worried. I also bit pressured that someday I will be the one who will handle our company. Lots of things come to my mind on a very short moment and suddenly I thought that my phone was ringing.

It was Aimee delivering news that she had important things to be done tomorrow so she cannot go with me to the book event. Also Krizelle too  since she was sick and her parents told her to rest at home. So with this it shows na I will go to the event with Dustine only. I continue to prepare my self and later on I already done fixing myself.  

Dustine's POV:

"Kuya, put it on the box I don't want to leave it here." hawak ni Theo ang stuff toy niya at inaabot sa akin para ilagay sa kahon bago ito isara. "Anak, after niyan isakay mo na rin sa truck and fix yourself remember we will attend business event later." sambit sa akin ni mommy. "Yes, mom" sagot ko. "Pinaayos ko na yung susuotin ninyo sa mga maids natin so bilisan ninyo we only have few hours." sambit ni mommy bago umalis. 

"Kuya, we will go to Ate Lily today?" tanong sa akin ng kapatid ko. "Yes" sagot ko. "I'm so excited you said 3 more days but it's not 3 kuya." sagot sa akin ng kapatid ko habang binibilang sa mga daliri niya ang araw na lumipas. "So we need to prepare ourselves now and you can see your Ate Lily later." sambit ko sa kanya.

Lily's POV:

Naunang umalis ng bahay ang parents ko kasama na rin nila si Eli. Nagpaalam ako sa kanila na magpapahatid nalang ako sa driver ko at susunod nalang sa kanila. Nakatingin ako sa mga libro na ako ang sumulat and I thought na I already made 9 books since a publisher offer me to publish my work. I open my laptop and also open the story I'm currently writing and thought that I already made a thing that fulfill my heart.

I go downstairs and call my driver and also left the house for the event. Exactly when I arrived it was the time that the program will start. It's a new product launching ng isa sa brand ng company kaya lahat ng part ng company ay present. I short remarks that welcoming the guests was given by my parents. A bit later is my turn to speak and my hands shake when I hold the microphone and I know that my voice also nervous to speak. Nakahinga naman ako ng maluwag right after this.

My parents are talking with the guests while my sister is taking photos and videos to post on her social media. I also take 1 and post it on my IG story then a few seconds I get a notification. @finndustine liked your story "Oh, niliked ko lang baka kung ano isipin mo." gulat ako ng may biglang nagsalita sa likod ko. "Nag-notif kasi so I checked it lang." sagot ko. "Nag-iiba talaga personality mo kapag ako kaharap mo no" sambit niya. "Why?" may pagtatakang tanong ko. "Kasi ang sabi ng parents ko mabait ka parang anghel kaso kapag nakikita naman kita especially when we first met ang maldita mo naman ano yun nasa loob ang boil." sambit niya na may pangiti ngiti pa. He's so annoying sa mukha niya while talking with me so I just walk away from him.

"Huy, joke lang eh pikon nito." sambit niya habang sinusundan ako. "Bakit ka ba sumusunod sa akin plan mo ba na sirain ang night ko... Well, kung ganoon kasi ang gusto mo you already did." iritang sambit ko sa kanya. I continue walking away from him and try to entertain myself. It's almost midnight na rin so I try to look for my parents but I see them really busy with their guest. I leave the event for a while and walk outside and I saw him again. He's holding  drinks and when he noticed me he's coming on my way. "Here" sabay abot niya sa akin ng isa sa drinks na dala niya. "Caramel Frappuccino your favorite I hope we're good now." dagdag niya. "What this? I mean why you giving me that?" tanong ko. "Ahm, peace offering lang nakakaguilty kaya nabwiset kita." sambit niya. "Thanks, but how did you know na favorite ko ito?" tanong ko while holding the drink. "Nakita ng kapatid mo na napikon kita and when I asked her what can bring your mood good yan ang sinabi niya." sagot niya sa akin.
