As Moon crept into the cave, she spotted an IceWing.
No way. I pray to the moons that one of us just made a wrong turn.
She checked her map again, praying that it was a mistake. The map was desert themed, and had pictures of cactus's and camels all over it.
Weird.
To her disappointment, it was no mistake; she'd have to basically live with and IceWing for who knew how long. Her and the IceWing both stared, Moon hadn't completely stepped into the cave yet - so the IceWing must've been unsure if she was his clawmate. She noticed that the room had beds specifically made for a dragon. The IceWing had a cold ledge, and she had a..
Sand pile? Did they think she was a SandWing? She had to ask Sunny or Starflight if it was a mistake. Moon was easy to forget, but not to the point where they'd forget her entire tribe. Maybe, once she builds up the courage, she'd ask Starflight what was going on.

"Are you going to walk in?" Or just stare at me awkwardly?

"Oh! Y-yes. Sorry," She stumbled into the cave, nearly dropping her map.

"I thought you'd be a SandWing, not a treasure hungry - smoke breathing NightWing."

He had some weird specific hatred for NightWings. His mind was also confusing. The centre of his mind read as easy as a scroll; I hate NightWings. They killed him. But the edges of his mind whispered something she couldn't hear clearly. It was like he was mad at himself for not particularly hating a NightWing. In his world, he had to hate them. Not even feel a decent feeling towards them.
Moonwatcher, Moonwatcher, Moonwatcher.. Where are you?
She turned around, startled to hear her name said repeatedly. Well - not aloud. Just in their head. She poked her head ur of the cave expecting a dragon to yell at her for doing something wrong. But instead it was a SandWing. He had a scar across his snout and ebony eyes. He also had a few freckles across his snout.

"Hey! I'm Qibli, I know this probably seems really weird to you but what's your name?"

"Moon." She said softly, almost whispering. This dragons mind was like no other, it was busy. VERY busy. The main focus of his mind was finding her. Another part of his mind was debating to go survey the mountains with a dragon named Ostrich.

"Moon.. Short for Moonwatcher? Or just Moon?"

She looks shy. Quiet, introverted, yet determined. Probably the NightWing in my winglet. Quiet because she's shy? Or hiding something? Have to wait to see. Those silver scales by her eyes look new. Don't think i've seen them - maybe in our morning discussion i can manage to bring those up about her to figure them out. Maybe even become friends with her.

Moon was shocked. She'd never seen a dragon that was able to figure out her personality when she just said one word. He'd got most of it right; Hiding something, shy, quiet, introverted, maybe determined? She wasn't even sure herself.

"Oh - um, it's Moonwatcher. But call me Moon, please."

"Finally! I swear our maps got mixed up. Or, at least i'm pretty sure i have yours. 90% sure." He handed out the map emphasising the name that said 'Moonwatcher'.

"I was wondering why it had stars and the Moon on it! Do you by any chance have mine?"

"Uh, maybe? I think so."

"Ooh, could you pass it to me? Wait - we're in the same winglet! Lucky you." He said jokingly. Qibli peaked in the cave to see who his new clawmate was - judging by the expression, he was not pleased.

"Hey! I'm Qibli, us 3 are in the same winglet. Aren't you just so lucky to be in my winglet?" He arched his eyebrows jokingly.

"Quite the opposite." The IceWing snarled.

Qibli nudged moons shoulder lightly.

"This one's gonna be fun." He nearly whispered to her. If she couldn't read minds, she'd have no idea what he was saying.

Moon nodded her head in a 'goodbye' kind of way. She checked her map to see who her real clawmate was. It was a SkyWing and RainWing. Interesting pair. She ducked her head down as she scurried through the hallway on a mission to find her cave. Ducking her head down didn't help with the thoughts, though.

NightWing - Seems stuck up, like all of them.
Hope she's not in my winglet.
Why does she look scared? Ha! Probably trying to figure out our "weaknesses"

The map was helpful, but this place was a maze! There was a Turtle x Umber, Icicle x Tamarin, Sora x Pronghorn, and millions of others. But no Moonwatcher. She'd have to build up the courage to ask Starflight or Sunny. She sighed as she walked over to the library, this was most definitely not how she wanted to spend her first day in Jade Mountain Academy.

"Hi! What's your name? I'm Kinkajou! I've never seen a SkyWing before, this is awesome! You can tell me everything about your tribe. I wonder when the other dragon will come. It's nearly night! Imagine if she doesn't come! School drama already!"

Moon lifted her head up to the noise, spotting a cave with the following names carved into it; Kinkajou x Moonwatcher x Carnelian cave. Moon caught twin threads of hope that she wasn't going to come. It made her wince a little, but she built up the courage and slowly but surely walked over to the cave and proceeded to stare inside. It was similar to the cave she walked into before. Except now she saw a hammock that looked beyond comfortable. And another rock sledge that seemed uncomfortable. Luckily it seemed like the SkyWing already claimed it. But there was one bed that caught her eye - an extremely comfortable pile of moss! It obviously wasn't the most extravagant bed she'd ever seen, but it certainly looked like the most comfortable thing she'd seen all day.

HII! So, I write these stories for MY enjoyment. And for some reason i just don't like writing this one?? It's my most popular story.. ): But i don't enjoy writing it- Soo, i'm gonna stop writing this one. If it gets REALLY high demand, i'll continue. But for the mean time go check out my other stories! They're all jade winglet themed (no DoD) bc arc 2 is js the best?? Anyway, tysm for supporting me <: Also pls comment what kind of stories u want me to do (like jma as humans?! Or nahhh??)
