Hopeless

Author note: Sorry i didn't upload since i tried to log in to this account and many,  MANY school works are onto me so..😃.

Sonic POV

When we are already on Shadow's house, his place is really neat and tidy, and it smelled lavender inside. My siblings still doesn't trust Shadow though, but we had no choice. We sat at the couch, and making eyecontact at Shadow who stared back at me.

"So...uh, the reason why we decided to stay here is-" "We got kicked out!" Manic interrupted meanwhile the rest of us stared at him in confusion.

"Got kicked out? You three dressed like royalties. Golden, ruby, emerald, etc jewelries, and i can tell it was real." Shadow crossed his arms and leaned against the couch. Sonia was silently fuming at his attitude but managing to control it, however, Manic just stared at the floor, unable how to respond.

I cleared my throat, trying to get their attention. "So, what i was saying is. We lost our home and someone took over it. Our pala-HOUSE, is important to us. So, i asked you're permission to let us stay in your home and we can leave as soon as we're ready." Shadow was confused and serious at this situation. He sighed, uncrossed his arms and stood up.

"Luckily for you three, i have extra three guest rooms. I don't know why i have them, but fine." I smiled warmly. "Thank you, Shads. I really am!" "Do not. Call me that. It's infuriating for me to hear."

He huffed in annoyance and crossed his arms again, i only grinned at his grumpiness. "Okay okay, bbuuuut..I'll try. So, thanks again!" I stood up and gestured my siblings to follow me, and they did. They bowed at Shadow before following me, leaving the confused grumpy hedgehog in the living room. His house was a little big, but perfect for us to stay. We walked through the hallways, opening the doors in the guest rooms. It was tidy and nice inside, and the bed is comfy and soft.

"Are you sure that you can trust him? His attitude to you is just..." she groaned in annoyance. I chuckled and nudged her in her shoulder. "Relax, sis. And even if he was a threat, i can sense it in his eyes. But he was not. Let's get some rest and figure this out to get our palace back."

They nodded and took each rooms, comfortable and fell asleep. I laid down in the bed after i closed and let the lights out. I stared in the ceiling, trying to figure a plan in my head. If i started training in the woods-no. The moon dwellers will be there also. Inside the house? I will knock things over and will be sure, scolded by Shadow.

I groaned in annoyance. There has to be a way to train in private, but where?

Before another thought, i fell asleep.

No POV

Sonic woke up when he felt the warm sunlight against his face. He rubbed his eyes, yawning before sitting up and stretched his arms and legs. He freaked out that noticing the unfamiliar surroundings, but suddenly remembered that he was on Shadow's house. He let out a sigh of relief and he walked towards the bathroom, and 🍋 (peeing).

Sonia and Manic was in the living room, chilling and secretly thinking of a plan on how they could stop the moon dwellers. And they wanted to know where they will be trained so they can fight back.

"Hey guys, can we talk about something?" Sonic asked his older twins. Sonia and Manic's eyes darted to their little brother, gesturing him to continue. Since Shadow is away from work that Sonic didn't know, they can talk freely, but not too loud or something. "Should we train something more private? Like a cave?" "Might a bear lived in the cave, so no." "Forests?" "Most likely the moon dwellers is all around in the forests, trying to find you." Sonic groaned in fruastration, "But where? I can't walk normally outside without my cloak hiding my quills!"

"Maybe we ask the black dude for help?" "Manic, don't call him that. The name is Shadow. You sound racist." Manic rolled his eyes. "But seriously, we need some help." Manic exclaimed. Sonia and Sonic glanced at eachother before turning their heads to the emerald hedgehog. "But how? Shadow is the only one I know..." he then thought about something. "Unless.." "Unless what?" Sonic took a deep breath and then explained. "Shadow, uh..said or told one mobian what is my appearance are-" "WHAT?! ARE YOU CRAZY?! HE IS CRAZY!" Sonia yelled, who got hushed down by the emerald and sapphire hedgehogs. "Quiet, shh!! I swear, the mobian he told didn't tell anyone yet. Please, calm down." "They could turn against you in the meantime, Sonic! Don't just trust anyone easily! Please!"

Sonic sighed and plopped himself in the couch. This is hopeless.
