Chapter 10: I've Been Waiting

Ok so like I hope you like this chappie it's from PERSASSY'S POV. And who's waiting? You probably know!! So let's get on with the story!

Percy:

I've been waiting for her for a week. I come here every night hoping that she'll come. I was about to give up when I saw beautiful blonde curls. Annabeth. "Percy" she said quietly. I smiled. She's so beautiful. "Yeah" I replied. "Your..." she trailed off. "Yeah" I said. She walked up to me slowly. (A/N: I'm like a sucker for cheesiness so like deal with it😁) "that was a lot of thinking Seaweed Brain" she chuckled. "Anything for you" I grinned. I've never been happier in my life when she smiled so brightly. "Per-" I cut her off with a kiss on the cheek. She put her arms around my neck and I put my hands on her waist. "You don't know how long I wanted you to do that" she laughed when we pulled away. "Same" we held hands. "Annabeth, you don't have to live in Central Park" I stated. "I don't have anywhere else to go" a tear came down. My heart broke. "Yes you do." I said. I can't let her cry. "Where would I go" she pulled her hands away. I grabbed them again. "With me" her eyes widened and she hugged me. And right then I knew I made the right decision, just one problem. Gabe.

I've never seen Annabeth more cheery than when we were driving to my house. It was very cute. Just then the song sparks fly came on. Annabeth started to sing.

"The way you move is like a full on rainstorm and I'm a house of cards                                                You're the kind of reckless that should send me running                                                                               But I kinda know that I won't get far"

I smiled as she sang.

My eyes lit up. This song is so us. I sang this time.

"My mind forgets to remind me you're a bad idea

Then Annabeth sang again.

We smiled. "I'm captivated by you, baby like a fireworks show" she said and kissed me. Then I put my eyes on the road and laughed.

We pulled into my apartment complex. I Annabeth was radiating excitement. "Annabeth your gonna blow, calm down." I laughed. "Sorry, I'm just really excited! Sleeping on a park bench is not as comfy as you might think" I chuckled. "I never thought it was comfy." She rolled her eyes. "Well, what are we waiting for?! Let's go inside" she practically jumped out of the car. I shook my head a followed her.

We got to my floor. "Hey mom I'm home!" I said. I opened the door and saw my mom humming in the kitchen baking cookies. "Hey Percy! And Annabeth?" She walked over to us. I looked at Annabeth and she nodded. "Well, Annabeth's parents kicked her out" my mom's face filled with worry. "So-" mom interrupted me. "Of course she can" she grabbed Annabeth and pulled her into an embrace. "Come dear, let's get you settled. Percy can you take over the baking?" I nodded. Annabeth and mom disappeared.

I was starting to cook when *gag* Gabe *gag* came in. I immediately tensed up. "Heyyy Gabe" I said. "I heard you invited your little friend over" he sneered. "Yeah so?" I said sassily. I'm not letting Gabe walk all over me (literally).  "So you think that-" I interrupted him. "No I think you're stupid and gross. Only a stupid and gross person would beat their step children." I stepped towards him. He growled when mom and Annabeth came in laughing. Gabe sat down. I smirked. "Hey, Annabeth is staying with us" mom said cheerfully. "Yeah, ok" Gabe said still glaring at me. "I'm tired" Annabeth said and she sat on the couch next to me.

In 30 minutes Annabeth was asleep on my shoulder. I decided I didn't want to wake her so I slept on the couch. I am so happy we are finally together. This is the best day of my life. I kissed her head. "Percy it's time to go to bed." Mom said. "I don't wanna wake Annabeth, so I'm going to sleep here" I told her. She nodded. "Goodnight" she said as she kissed my head. "Goodnight" I said. I pulled the blanket from beside me and draped it over Annabeth. She shifted. "I love you" she whispered. "Love you" I smiled. Mom turned off the lights.

Hey guys! I made this a really fluffy chappie! Hope ya like it! So now for our questions. Will Annabeth find Solace (you know why I capitalized it😉) in her new home? Will Percy destroy Gabe's abuse? Or will they both be forever sad? Wattpad may never know....until later😃. Adios my dear readers!
