Chapter I

One Rainy Day...

It was one rainy day that led to this moment.

Ran Haitani fell in love for the first time and has been in love for over a year now. His friends didn't believe him at all. He had multiple girlfriends in the past, he liked them but he never loved them. So finding out that he fell in love with someone was a huge shocking for everyone in Tenjiku.

Everyone but Rindou, who watched his brother fall in love; and Shion, who knew the girl way before everyone, and he can proudly say that he's her cousin.

But it was a shock for everyone else. They didn't believe him, and since Ran is Ran, he never introduced her to his friends, just so he could annoy them with it. At one point Tenjiku even started thinking that this girl doesn't even exist.

So today it was finally time for everyone to meet her...

"Are you sure I can play any kind of music at the party?" Rindou asked his older brother, who was getting ready for the party that they were throwing in their shared apartment.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" Ran asked back from the kitchen, as he was getting the snacks ready. "It's a normal party, just like all the ones we had before. The only difference is that Y/n will be here."

"Exactly" Rindou answered. "She has never been to one of our parties, what if she doesn't like the music? Or the party? Or what if the delinquents will scare her? Are you not worried?"

"Not really, it's Y/n we're talking about" Ran told his younger brother. "She listens to any kind of music, she is excited for the party and she's gonna be beside us at all times, so the delinquents will leave her alone. She is coming with Shion and they are buying the beer, so that is already a way to win the delinquents over."

"Yeah, but still, there are gonna be a lot of delinquents here" Rindou shrugged as he sat down on one of the stools in the kitchen. "I'm not worried about the Heavenly Kings or Izana, they would never hurt her. But you and I both know just what kind of people are in Tenjiku and it could be dangerous for her."

"Shion would bring hell here if something were to happen to her, so will I and you" Ran said. "Kakucho always stays sober anyway, and he met her, so I'm sure he will stay beside her if we can't. Muto and Mochi seem like they would get along with her easily, and they have that scary dog privilege, so if they are around no one will even look at her. And I'm 100% sure that Izana will find her interesting, and that also means he will keep her safe when we are busy with the music and drinks."

"You really thought this through, didn't you?" Rindou laughed.

"Of course" Ran smiled at his younger brother. "I love her too much, I can't afford her getting hurt because of me. That's why I want her to meet the Heavenly Kings and Izana, the more people to protect her, the safer she will be."

"Oh yeah, I forgot that Izana said he will protect our girlfriends, if we ever get one" Rindou commented.

"Yeah, he might be crazy but he still has a heart" Ran answered. "But I do worry about one thing tho."

"You worry about them, don't you?" the younger Haitani asked, already knowing the answer. "The more I look into things about them I just keep finding worse and worse stuff."

"Yeah" the older Haitani nodded, now standing on the other side of the counter where Rindou was sitting, standing infront of him. "I have no idea what to do. I don't want to love Y/n in secret, she deserves better than that, but I do not want them to find her."

"It could end badly, you know" Rindou looked up at Ran. "I'm sure she is safe, for now, but who knows when they will target Tenjiku, and if they ever will then no matter who they target from our friends or from us, there is a 50% chance that they could use her as our weakness. I mean, she's Shion's cousin, your girlfriend, my kinda-sister-in-law and bestfriend; If she meets Izana and the others she will be number one target once they find out about her."

"I know that, Rin" Ran answer with a sigh. "I worry about that too. The only thing that makes me confident about this is that if Izana will want to befriend her then he will keep her safe. He's the strongest delinquent I know, and as much as he doesn't want to admit it, he would do anything for his friends."

"And knowing both Izana and Y/n, he would become bestfriends with her" Rindou finished. "She's interesting enough for him to keep her safe, and she has the heart of gold, just like Kakucho. If he would take a bullet for Kakucho, I am sure he would do the same for Y/n."

"Yeah" Ran agreed. "I'm just hoping he will like her. If all of them will like her then she will be safe."

"She's safe in Roppongi, that's for sure" Rindou said. "No one here would hurt her, because all the delinquents here know that she is not to be touched. We both made sure of that."

"And she is safe when she is with Shion" Ran continued. "If she befriends everyone else then she will be safe in Tokyo."

"Let's hope that she befriends everyone else then" Rindou said, before a knock could be heard from the front door, signaling that people are arriving for the party.
