Her head was spinning. The music was loud in her ears, but it was still so quiet, distant.
She is not used to drinking alcohol. Taking so many shots was a bad idea, she already regrets it, but the throwing up helped.
She is not yet close to sober, she knows she had to be really drunk, because she can't even keep her head still. Is it the alcohol that is burning her stomach? Maybe, or maybe it's the stomach acid, since she forgot to eat before drinking.
She can feel the taste of alcohol still lingering on her tongue, but it has been an hour, at least, since she last drank alcohol. Is she sleepy, because she's tired or because she is drunk? Maybe she should've drank more water, maybe it would've helped.
It was a mistake to drink, she admits it. She's at a party, full of delinquents. Most of them don't know her, and she doesn't know them.
She misses Ran. She doesn't want to bother him, he's busy with the drinks and she doesn't trust herself to find the kitchen when she can't even keep her eyes open. Maybe finding Rindou or Shion would be easier, but Rindou is busy too and Shion... She has no idea where Shion is.
Maybe she could ask the guy beside her. She knows that she knows him, but she can't remember from where. He's Ran's friend, she knows it, because Ran told her that if he's not beside her he will ask someone to keep an eye on her.
But she's so dizzy, if she moves her head to the side to see who it is she might just throw up on him.
Who could it be? She can't see him, he doesn't really talk. But Ran has to trust him, otherwise he wouldn't be sitting next to him now. She saw a tiny bit of his hair, who else has this hair color? Only one person, who is that?
That alcohol really got to her head, it's probably best if she keeps her eyes closed and rests her head on the back of the couch. Maybe she falls asleep and when she wakes up she will be sober and everyone else will be gone.
But it's not safe to close your eyes around strangers while you're drunk, she shouldn't be stupid.
Ran is close, he will keep her safe, right? She trusts him, she puts all her trust in Ran. She is not afraid to close her eyes.
