3rd Person POV:

Wendy was sweaty and she absolutely loathed it. Sweaty and being shoved by strangers in a very crowded place. It almost reminded her of Starcourt Mall. But in Starcourt, people tended to stay in their own little cliques, like high school, but no. Not at the airport where people are rushing and cutting in lines and talking so damn loud.

"I think I see her! Wendy! Over here!"

Wendy perked up at the familiar voice. She looked around, trying to see past the ocean of people, and finally caught sight of the people she missed dearly since they moved away.

Wendy gripped the handle of her suitcase tightly as she began maneuvering around the strangers. She felt like she could finally breathe once she got into an open area and practically flew in the air to hug El and Will.

"I missed you guys so much!" Wendy cried. "Even you Jonathan!"

"We missed you too!" Will cried as well.

The three of them broke the hug and Wendy got a good look at everyone. El's hair grew a bit past her shoulders and they almost reached the same height. Will grew about 2 to 3 inches taller than Wendy and his hair was trimmed shorter than last she saw him. Jonathan looked practically the same only that his hair was a bit longer and shaggier. Joyce looked exactly the same.

"How was your flight?" El asked.

"I sat in between a married couple that were arguing the whole time," Wendy shrugged. "Even tried to involve me at one point."

"What were they arguing about?" Jonathan asked, taking the liberty to grab Wendy's suitcase.

"Husband is here for a conference meeting thing, but the wife thinks he's lying and is having an affair so she tagged along to catch him in the act but made the mistake of buying the ticket in the same row as him, so she got caught," Wendy said. "They were going on and on and on the entire flight."

"At what part did they try to involve you?" Joyce asked in amusement.

"Wife tried to get me in on it thinking that I was the one having the affair with her husband but then backtracked once she realized I'm still in school and I'm here on break," Wendy said. "So then she asked me how I would feel if I was in her position. Then the husband told me not to answer her because she's crazy, so I just kind of sat there until the plane landed.."

"Well, at least you weren't bored the entire time," Will laughed.

The group left the airport and got into Joyce's car, the entire car ride debating if the husband was cheating or not based on Wendy's information. By the time they got to the house, they all reached a consensus that the husband was, in fact, cheating.

"Okay, hear me out on this, what if the wife is also cheating and was trying to meet her lover until she got caught by the husband being on the same flight and row?" Jonathan asked when they got inside the house.

"And she panicked and shifted the blame to him!" Will exclaimed.

"This changes everything.." Wendy gasped. "I hope I'm on the same flight as them back to Hawkins."

Wendy, to put it simply, looked like a baby deer learning to walk for the first time.

"Is this better?" Wendy asked, her arms and hands spread out in front of her to keep herself balanced on the roller skates.

"A little bit," El giggled.
