"I don't know Dan, he's never acted like this. Just so blank." Aleks over heard the conversation between Dan and Jordan. He had left his room to grab a drink, hoping to keep away the nightmares and impending depression his mind liked to throw at him. Aleks walked into the living room biting his lip, passing the two men before going to the kitchen and grabbing a water bottle.

"He's a feisty one." Dan agreed, glancing at the russian man. Aleks adverted his gaze to the ground, focusing on the tile and then the carpet as he attempted to dart back to his room.

"Aleksandr, come in here a moment?" Jordan called, halting the smaller man's actions. He turned walking back into the room and leaning against the couch next to Jordan.

He raised an eyebrow in question, why did Jordan want him right now? Jordan pulled the smaller man down onto the couch and wrapped an arm around him. Aleks simply took a drink of water and re capped it.

Dan watched, expecting the usual from Aleksandr. Him to squirm away from Jordan and tell him to screw off. Instead he just sat there limply, like he had lost all hope. That scared Dan, Jordan really liked Aleks. More than anyone that he had ever owned before. Cared a lot for this man and despite Dan not knowing why, he supported his friend and boss.

He knew Jordan better than anyone and knew that Jordan hated making people unhappy. Which is why he never kept anyone for long. Always giving in to the good parts of his soul.

"Dan found Kevin, he was able to locate him with his cell phone and get his number. If you ever want to talk to him. Apparently he's seperated from Dex and going out to Washington or Canada from his text messages."

"Don't stalk my friend. If he's not causing any trouble and he's alive then there's nothing else to know." Aleks said, his voice monotone as he curled up in Jordan's side. He didn't know Dan very well. Didn't know what would make him angry but he knew that Jordan would protect him.

Especially after the whole James thing.

Aleks had gone to lay down due to a headache, which is why he found himself staring out at the night through the window wall as the two older men began talking. It seemed to focus around business which Aleks didn't care too much to hear about. He didn't even notice his eyes drifting shut.

"You care a lot about him." Dan had whispered once he and Jordan had noticed that Aleks fell asleep.

"Yeah, I don't really know why. He just has this huge place in my heart." Jordan responded just as quiet.

"Good, keep it that way and keep him safe. You guys, the way you look at each other, it's a once in a lifetime thing. Don't waste it."
