"Dan, it's my week off I'm not coming in." Jordan said into his phone, he was speaking quietly even though the Russian lay awake next to him.
Aleks let out an annoyed sigh and wrapped an arm around Jordan's shoulder. He looked up and saw the apology hidden behind his eyes as he continued to talk to Dan. Jordan ran his fingers through Aleks' hair as he layed back on the bed.
"I'll take care of it when I get back." Jordan ended the call. He placed his phone on the bedside table to Aleks' glee. He smiled up at Jordan despite the nagging at the back of his head that he was the reason that Jordan wasn't going to work to fix whatever problem. A problem that could be costing a lot of money.
"Is everything alright?" Aleks asked. Jordan flipped over so he was on his side facing Aleks. The blush still fading away from his chest after their last make out session that got interrupted by the stupid phone call. He nodded and pressed a kiss to Aleks' forehead holding his gaze for a second.
"Don't worry about it, alright? Let's just focus on us." Jordan said, pressing his lips against Aleks' neck for a beat. Aleks lightly shoved him off, resting his head on Jordan's chest and pulling the blanket up around his body.
Jordan let off a soft sigh, mentally hoping that Aleks would get back into the mood sooner rather than later. He pressed another kiss to Aleks' head, resting back against the pillows as well.
"I'm going to go and get some water, do you want anything?" Aleks questioned, sliding off of the bed. He grabbed the large t-shirt off of the chair and slid it over his tiny frame, forcing Jordan's eyes away from him. The shirt came to Aleks' knees and Jordan regretted filling the smaller man's closet with the large items of clothing.
"No thanks." Jordan said.
Aleks nodded and darted out of the room, heading downstairs and into the kitchen. He pulled out a bottle of water and leaned against the counter. He was having feelings for Jordan and they were really confusing to the younger man. He liked Jordan, a lot. Like even more than Eddie. But he still didn't want to admit to liking the man who bought him in an auction.
It's not like he could exactly go away to figure out these feelings alone. Jordan still didn't like it when he couldn't see Aleks, or know exactly where he was. Dan still came to stay at the house while Jordan was at work. Half the time Jordan would work at home anyway.
"Aleks, are you alright? You're spacing out." Aleks' head whipped towards the sound just to see Jordan standing there in pajama pants that he had snagged off of the floor.
"Just thinking is all." He said.
Jordan reached forward and wrapped his arms around Aleks loosely, forcing the two to lock eyes.
"About what?" He asked.
"Uh, what to get you for Christmas obviously. I mean there's only two months left." Aleks stuttered, rubbing the back of his neck.
Jordan rolled his eyes with a chuckle and pressed a kiss to Aleks' lips.
"It's okay if you don't want to talk right now. If you want to talk though I'm here for you."
