SMG4 looks at the 1% off coupon that SMG3 used to promote his brand new coffee shop, a scowl making its way onto his face.

Mario: What is '3's Coffee and Bombs'?

Mario asks, SMG4 answers.

SMG4: SMG3 built a coffee shop next to the SMG4 castle. It just opened yesterday.

Mario: That's what that construction site was for?

SMG4: Yep.

Saiko: That means SMG3 was the one who came here earlier to harm Luigi. That petty little-!

Tari: What if it wasn't him? What if he is being framed?

Swag: The evidence suggests otherwise my blue-haried friend.

Chris: But it is still a possibility.

After some thinking and talking, Swag and Chris decide to investigate further in the hospital. Saiko will stay with Luigi to protect him from further harm. While everyone else goes to SMG3's new coffee shop to confront him.

Mario: So, what should we ask him once we decide to press him about it?

SMG4: I don't know. Got any ideas, Tari?

Tari: No.

SMG4: Then we gotta get brain storming. I'm thinking we crash through the window and surround him, then, once he's shaken up a little, we question him. He'll be more likely to answer our questions is he's scared of us.

Tari: Isn't that a little mean?

Mario: Tari, SMG3 works with mean, and is mean. That being said, it's possible scaring him won't work. I'm pretty sure he keeps a gun in his hat at all times.

SMG4: Oh, right.

Tari: That and his army of Ugandan Knuckles.

SMG4: Fogot about that.

Mario, Tari and SMG4 stop walking to think. How to confront SMG3? Mario gets an idea.

Mario: I've got it! We pretend we've got Eggdog and SMG3 will have no choice but to comply if we make it convincing enough.

SMG4: Sounds like a solid plan if I've ever heard one.

Tari: I dunno guys. What if he is innocent and being set up?

Mario: This is SMG3 we're talking about.

SMG4: He has a motive, he's petty, and will take any chance he can to prove innocence. Even if it means bribing a judge and jury.

Mario: Never underestimate how petty someone like him can be.

Tari: . . . .yeah, you two are probably right.

Tari says with a disappointed sigh. SMG3 is all of that, and possibly more.

Meanwhile

Saiko watches Luigi, his breathing finally normalized with the help of some 1-up mushrooms. She thinks back to the day they met, looking back, she's a far cry from the person she was before. Yet, some of that psychotic nature still lingers. That unexplainable drive to hurt someone because of some stupid thing they did that wasn't fully intentional. It's that reasoning that she used to justify her actions on Mario. She doesn't know if Luigi will forgive her for what she's done over the years to his own brother, but she hopes they can at least talk, she hopes she can at least say sorry.

Saiko: Luigi. . . . I know you can't hear me. But I just wanted to say that I'm sorry. Sorry for what I did to you, to Mario. You believed that I could be better, helped me to become better. And I turned my back on all of that.
