The tension and hurt from our argument seemed like a distant memory as we laughed and joked together in Tara's room

After capturing a series of hilarious photos, we collapsed on the bed in fits of giggles.

"I can't believe we were fighting just a few days ago," Tara said, wiping away tears of laughter.

"Yeah, no more of that," I replied, pointing at her.

We sat in comfortable silence for a moment, the warmth of the covers and the joy of our shared laughter enveloping us in a sense of peace.

"I'm really glad we talked things out and cleared the air." Tara said, breaking the silence.

"Me too. I hate fighting with you." I admitted, reaching out to hold her hand.

"I hate it too. I never want to be in that kind of situation again" Tara said, squeezing my hand gently.

"Let's make a pact." Tara said suddenly, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

"A pact?" I asked, intrigued.

"Yeah, a pact to never let things get that bad between us again. To always communicate and listen to each other." she explained.

"I like the sound of that." I said, nodding in agreement. "I promise to always be honest with you and to work through any issues together."

"I promise the same." Tara said, a smile playing on her lips.

As the evening wore on, we changed into more comfortable clothes and settled into bed in her room.

"What should we do tomorrow?" Tara asked, looking over at me.

"Hmmm maybeee a day at the zoo?" I cock an eyebrow, waiting for her approval.

"We really have never been to the zoo together..." She said, sort of shocked.

"A shame!" I scoffed playfully, propping myself up on my elbow on the bed.

Tara giggled before replying, "So what should we bring?"

"it's going to be hot so water and sunscreen." I shrugged.

"Anddd little hats." She added.

"I hope they have dip n dots." I said, slightly pouting.

"They usually do."

"How often do you go?" I asked, curiously.

"I went a few times last year for a school project on elephants." Tara admitted.

I rested on my back with my hands behind my head. "Lucky, my project was lame."

"What was it?"

"I don't remember lame things, i just know it was lame." I rolled over.

Tara laughed, rolling her eyes playfully. "It's getting late, we should sleep. The zoo is huge we're gonna be walking it up tomorrow."

"Nothing I can't handle." I say getting comfortable.

As I stood in the doorway of her bedroom, I couldn’t help but smile at the sight of Tara rummaging through her closet. It was a sunny afternoon, and the excitement in the air was palpable. Tara had her usual infectious enthusiasm, her face lighting up every time she pulled out a new outfit and held it up for inspection.

"Too bright?" she asked, holding up a pair of neon green shorts with a playful grin.

I nodded my head, laughing. "Little bit."
