The sun faded behind the clouds. The rustling of the leaves could be heard as a breeze blew through. The incoming rain made its appearance one tiny drop at a time, before picking up considerably and soaking the land. A few stray drops fall between the leaves and poke Alice on her forehead, waking her up as she slowly opens her hazel eyes and gazes upon what the day has in store for her. And so far, it had nothing in store for her. It was exactly the calm she needed.
"What a quiet night, I'm glad I was finally able to get some sleep. Wait a second, what am I doing up in this tree?"
Still shaking the fog out of her head she tried to recall the events from the night before as the raindrops continued to drop on her, dodging the cover of the thick leaves above. Besides the sound of falling rain, no other noises existed.
"Oh yeah, I remember last night. I had to flee from that guy's house...I was so tired. I stayed up all night worrying that those bots were gonna find me. But at some point near the early morning, I guess it was clear they weren't gonna find me. I must have scaled this tree and then dozed off."
Looking above her at the magnificent tree that protected her slumber, she then motioned to the Gi beneath her and patted it endearingly with both hands. It was hanging like a makeshift hammock between two tree branches that she laid in.
"I'm kinda surprised this can hold me," she calmly spoke, "But man, it's not gonna get any easier from here. Even in the early war, I had comrades or like, other people that had my back. Either I'm all washed up now, or I'm just too scared to do it on my own."
Reaching for the map pages in her pocket, she realized what she had planned to do with them in the morning
"Oh, that's right! I was gonna try and reconstruct as much of this as I can! But before I do that...."
Alice placed the map pieces down between her legs, causing them to rest delicately on the pink panties she was still wearing and opened her journal to record her thoughts.
There is a lot I learned within the past day about how the armies have advanced in their technology and a couple other weird anomalies that I haven't been able to figure out yet. These include details about the AI Bots.
-Now discharging blood when struck, rather than only oil fluids
-Have tracking capabilities installed into their systems
-Able to be programmed to seek out individual targets, like pink-haired girls
But there are still mysteries with them
-Have the Rouge Leaders begun conducting experiments with humans?
-Does their spread indicate the army has been rebuilt and will begin attacking again?
