Entry 4: The Path
The room was quiet, the lights were dim, and the remainder of the afternoon had made its way by the curtains as sunlight and a faint breeze passed through. It was a particularly nice day outside despite the destruction that remained within the village. The majority of the response team had been deployed to excavate the boulders that lay tumbled on the village's entrance and a first aid unit had been working since the morning. Considering elves were highly skilled in healing techniques, they were quickly able to assist the injured - including Alice herself.
When she woke up she found herself in that quiet, dimly lit room lying on a bed and fully clothed. At first, her mind was a little confused, believing she was still in the training area, but remembered that Julie had given her spot-healing after the fight with Magician.
She quickly shot up while in bed trying to put the foggy pieces together in her mind, about what must have happened since departing the stadium. In a fluster and still a little drowsy, she felt around for the journal in her Gi and found it. Grabbing the pen, she described the events of the morning.
I am kinda freaking out right now, I don't know what happened after Julie and I left the stadium, how we even left the stadium or where anyone else is right now. My body, for some reason, feels perfectly fine. Like someone had been able to heal it completely from when it was torn open again this morning. Did Julie give me another healing session? And what's worse, I don't know where that Magician guy went. There is so much I need to research about him.
-Where did he come from?
-Why does he wear a snowflake on his jacket?
-And how was he able to appear as my mother?
I still haven't had time to piece together Mashiro's map pieces, or the ones Gramps gave me. But if there's one thing I have learned since my last entry, it's that Julie is precious to me....and I am without a doubt a threat to her safety because of how they can track me.
Just as she finished, the door to the room Alice was lying in opened and three figures appeared - a medical specialist, Claude, and Julie. Alice started to leave her bed and mutter something about going to help the village, but she was interrupted by the medical elf who motioned her to sit back down
"Whoa there Pink Hair, take it easy for a bit. You were just fully healed so relax and don't immediately jump back into the action."
"Action?? There's more fighting out there?? Is that guy-??" Alice was speaking in a mixture of fear and regret, acting like she wanted another round with Magician right at that very moment.
"No, no, he's long gone" Clause assured her."
"Julie, did you heal me again?" She asked her directly, but the answer was given by the medical elf.
