[ meaningless fights]
Author pov...
Enjoying the warm canned foods with some breads, near the bonfire under the night sky. One was giving silent death threats and glares to the person across to him and another was blushing furiously. And the one who was receiving all those threats was sweating badly. Luke Infront of him isn't looking away nor blinking. His chocolate orbs turned even darker as his eyes are becoming red. Even when eating his food. Kane knew he would die soon. Not from the monsters but the devil he just accidentally summoned not a little while ago.
There was an uncomfortable silence in them as none dared to say a word to another. After all a certain someone just ruined the whole mood of two. Change that to one. Lavinia was clearly too embarrassed to even care about it.
"whatever" Kane gulped. "I am going to sleep."
He hurriedly walked out of there saving his life for now. He can just pray to God that Luke will forget about this. With a deep sigh he laid down trying to get some sleep. but he doubts it will come to him after all that.
"What a day." he said to himself as he recalled what just happened.
Sudden blush forming on cheeks as he tries to play it cool. And actually, try to sleep. on the outside, Luke finally let out a breath of relief. Dropping down the empty can as he moved himself close to his girl who had also finished eating.
"Want water?" he asked as he grabbed a bottle from the bag.
"y-yea" she muttered.
"Damn that late boomer had to interfere us right that moment." He scoffed. "I will strangle him to death."
After some time with no answer from his girlfriend he looked over to her, just to see her spacing out looking at the dark sea before them. His eyes softened as he called her name to get her attention back.
"What are you thinking love?" he asked curiously.
"w-what nothing. Yes nothing," she said hurriedly as blush again crept up to her face as she looked to another side.
With a smug face he shifted even more closer to her as his hand made its way to her waist. Gently resting it there he made her look onto him with another hand. Leaning in giving her neck a gentle blow as he smelled her natural scent. The smell of her perfume still slightly noticeable. Leaving a peck there he backed out again. Touching their foreheads together as they both closed their eyes.
"Say? Want to continue what we started before." He gently placed his hand on her thighs.
Giving them a gentle squeeze while looking at her, closing her eyes shut as she placed her hand on to his trying to remove his hand. Much to her dismay the hand didn't even budge a little. With a smug smirk he squeezed her thighs again a bit harder. She squealed in surprise.
"What... want more?" he added with a deep voice.
"Stop this, Luke."
"Now it's Luke huh."
"Well, that's your name."
"Bad girl."
"Leave your little drama and get lost before I strangle you half to death." She said annoyed by his actions.
"If it's you I would love to see you strangling me." He added giving her a fazed look.
"Shut up." She finally lost it.
"Make me." He smirked as he grabbed her waist.
In a swift moment Luke was under her. She was indeed Stradling him to half death. Grabbing into his neck with more power, she smirked in victory. After some time seeing him struggle, she let him go. Standing up as she stretched her arms.
"I am no weak women."
"Yes, you are" Zeke huffed. "You are screaming like a coward woman whenever I tried to examine their wounds and pull out the twigs in them."
"I- umm- "Kreois blushed acknowledging his behavior. "Since they can't feel pain, I am screaming for them."
"Figured." Zeke added looking at the boys from a distance.
The boys aren't bleeding as much the two tried their best to cover the wounds and applying herbs that will help healing it soon. Though the youngest one was first to be awaken after drinking water, now is asleep in Kreois arms. They decided to give him some warmth as the boy was whimpering a lot, and it actually helped them. The oldest boy is conscious now but fell asleep again. Maybe from the tiredness.
"His fever isn't going down" Kreois said concerned about the boy.
"We don't have med kits with us, even if we did so..." he take a look at the boy. " ..... he wouldn't survive."
With the night fallen latterly hours ago they decided not to make a fire despite the coldness. Those creatures lurk around more often in the night than the day and they figured their eyes weren't working in perfect condition since they have seen those things nearly bumping into the trees.
"Is anyone alive?" Kreois murmured looing up to the blinking stars in the sky.
"What makes you think like that." Zeke whisper yelled.
"Mean no one has ever come to here even though we literally agreed to follow the water which would eventually meet us up."
"We did, I didn't know."
"Well maybe if you weren't sulking about your damn pillow then you might have."
"Hey chill out dude."
"I can't just chill out. It's been days since we got separated."
"I know." Zeke finally lost it. "I know... I am worried as much as you are, for fucks sake they are my friends too. But did you see me ranting out like that. Have some faith in them like I do. It's hard I know. But what can we do. I know damn well that we can't do shit against those blood thirsty monsters."
"I didn't mean it like that. I trust them too. But-"
"Then what did you mean. In what context. For everything I know that isn't trust neither faith, Kreois-" his words were cut off in the middles as the boy sleeping next to shot right up screaming loudly.
That scream was sure not go unnoticed by those monsters. Both male panicked as they both hurriedly gathered their belongings and got ready to run. Giving the now silent boy a piggyback as they rushed through the bushes. Leaves hitting on their faces as they make way through it. as on que the little boy in Kreois arms started to cry awakened by the sudden rushed movements.
As they moved through the forest following their legs which in the end took them to a place with an opening. Much less trees were present there as the light of moon the shown up brightly on them. As they looked the around, they nearly cursed each other's ears out. Those ruby red eyes were surrounding them. There clearly is no escape.
"Shit."
