FAQ:
Here are the some answers for FAQ regarding to my debut novel.Q: When will your debut book be released?
A: For now, I'm posting it on Wattpad, which isn't the fully published version. But yes, it will be released as a hardcover or paperback. When that time comes, I'll definitely share the details, and I can't wait to announce the release!
Q: What inspired you to write your first book?
A: As an avid reader, I always dreamed of creating my own fiction book. I tend to feel deeply, and that emotional intensity fueled my writing. Additionally, going through some tough mental breakdowns gave me the push I needed to finally start.
Q: Will this book be part of a series or a standalone?
A: Clash of Souls: Reunited is the first book in the Twisted Souls series. It is not a standalone, but the other eight books in the series will be standalone stories. The Twisted Souls series will include a total of nine books.
Q: Are any characters from your debut based on real people?
A: Unfortunately, some of the characters are based on real people, while others are inspired by those around me and my imagination.
Q: Will there be more books from you after this?
A: Absolutely! After this series, I plan to write many more books.
Q: What was the hardest part of writing your first book?
A: Finding the balance between writing and life was tough, especially with the self-doubt that comes with any creative process. But once I found my rhythm, it became an incredibly fulfilling journey.
Q: Are there any tropes or themes you won’t write?
A: I’m not interested in writing about tropes like cheating, liar dynamics, girl-on-girl hate, damsels in distress, the chosen one, love triangles, sharing, or multiple partners, as they don’t align with the types of stories I want to tell. I prefer to focus on themes like enemies to lovers and others that resonate more with my style.
Q: Will you change the theme, plot, or book, or will it stay the same as the Wattpad version?
A: Yes, there will be changes in the plot and some scenes, and the chapters will be longer, with added details and new moments. While the Wattpad version will keep the core story, the published version will have expanded content and some different elements to make it even better.
Q: You don’t post the dark or spicy parts in your Wattpad story? Why?
A: I’ll be posting some of those scenes on Wattpad, but not as explicitly as in the published version. Both versions will have some differences, and the published book will include more spicy scenes with explicit language and added details that won't be available on Wattpad.
Q: Will you share more about your personal life as you grow as an author?
A: I like to keep certain aspects of my life private, but I’m always happy to talk about my writing process, inspirations, and what’s coming next!
Q: How do you deal with challenges like writer’s block or self-doubt?
A: Patience is the key for me. When I hit writer’s block, I take time to think, research, and read, which helps me get back into the flow. As for self-doubt, I tend to overthink a lot, but in a way, self-doubt pushes me to keep going and finish what I’ve started. It keeps me motivated to complete whatever I’m working on.
Q: Who or what inspires your storytelling style?
A:As a reader, I’ve read so many books, and authors like Ana Huang, Rina Kent, Tahereh Mafi, Lauren Asher, Elsie, and some Wattpad authors have inspired me a lot in my writing journey. I also find inspiration in everyday moments, especially emotions. I love capturing those little details and bringing them to life in my stories.
Q: You mentioned your book will be darker. How does that differ between Wattpad and the published version?
A: Up to chapter 15 on Wattpad, you might notice a build-up of confusion and curiosity rather than the darker elements. The published version will delve into these darker themes more directly and provide a clearer, more intense exploration of the story’s depth.
Q: Will there be changes to the book cover, names, or other elements between Wattpad and the published version?
A:Yes, there might be changes. I’m considering updating the names to American or British names in the published version, and the theme might shift from an Indian setting to an American or British one. As for the cover and other details, these will be finalized based on reader feedback and publisher input.
Q: Can you tell us more about your writing process?
A: I’m a mix of a planner and a pantser. I start with a loose outline but let the characters guide me as I go. Writing usually happens late at night when I feel most creative.
