(Y/n)'s POV:

--
A few days had passed since I last crossed paths with those JCC idiots. Now, I find myself traveling across Japan, tracking down Rion and Uzuki. I have to admit, it's taking longer than I expected... and it's slowly becoming more of a hassle than I anticipated.

"This would be my destination..." I said flatly to the truck driver, who had kindly let me ride with them.

As we pulled into a gas station, the driver stopped, and I waved them off as they drove away. I was considering grabbing something to eat when my GPS beeped. A grin crept across my face as I glanced at the gadget, excitement bubbling under the surface. "They're close..." I whispered to myself, quickly ducking behind cover when I spotted a vehicle pulling in to refuel.

'Time to get moving.'

Rion's POV:

--
"I don't know how to fill up the tank..." I said casually, glancing over at Uzuki.

"Hang on." Uzuki replied, inspecting the gas pump. "I think I can figure something out..."

I shrugged, not really caring about the situation. "Whatever. Let's just ditch the car, Uzuki." I said, stuffing my hands into my pockets, already bored with the whole thing.

Leaning against the side of the car, I watched Uzuki as he fiddled with the gas pump, my mind wandering. Before I could stop myself, I blurted out, "That dude who's running that sick orphanage must be a real jackass, huh?" I glanced at Uzuki. "Once we finally save your friends, we could beat that bastard up-get a little revenge for screwing up your lives in that place."

Uzuki froze mid-motion, his hand hovering above the pump. His face was tense, like he was holding back something. "Well... we still have to figure out a way to free them from Al-Kamar." he muttered, his voice low. "That's what you said, right?"

"I did." I replied with a shrug. 'It wasn't like we did didn't already have a mess of things to deal with, but Al-Kamar? That place was a different beast altogether.'

Uzuki stayed quiet for a second, his gaze distant. Then, staring at the palm of his hand like it held some kind of answer, he said, "I know there are a ton of organizations out there (like 'Nameless') that are even worse than Al-Kamar. Places that force kids like me to do the unimaginable... but this one, Al-Kamar, it has to stop." His voice dropped, anger simmering beneath the surface. "Once I've stopped Asaki and saved everyone there, I'm going after 'Nameless.' I'll destroy them too."

I twitched a little at his words, uneasy at the fire behind them. "Err... Uzuki, 'Nameless' isn't just some small-time operation. It's a worldwide organization. In public, they look like some high-tech research facility, making all these flashy gadgets, right? But behind the scenes... well, the rumors don't even scratch the surface of how messed up they are."

I trailed off, thinking about what I'd heard, and about someone else. The 'Puppet.' When I first found out she was from that massive facility, I assumed she was just another one of Nameless' twisted creations. 'But then... it turned out she despises them. She's not just some mindless tool. She's got a vendetta too.'

"But what really gets me..." I continued, "is how people like the 'Puppet' even got out of there. It's not like they just let her walk out the front door. She's got beef with 'Nameless' too, and I bet she'd want to burn them to the ground just as much as you."

Uzuki looked at me, curiosity flickering in his eyes. "Her? You think she'd go after 'Nameless'?"

"Hey! You two look like you're having fun! Mind if I join?"
