"You don't have to keep apologizing" I chuckle walking to my locker with Peyton hot on my heels
"I do. I have no excuse as to why I disappeared or for not helping you get back home when the cops came" he says stopping beside my locker
"It's okay. I got home safe and that's all that matters" I say closing my locker and leaning against it
"Still. Im so sorry. I can't apologize enough" he says being sincere
"It's fine" I tell him
"Are you coming to the scrimmage later on?" He asks
"I am. Who are you guys playing against?" I ask starting to walk to my first class
"North shore I think" he says
"Well, I'll see you later" I say walking into my class
"I am really sorry and I will make it up to you!"

"I'm guessing Peyton is still on his 'I'm sorry' parade?" Hannah asks
"You would be correct. He's said it at least a hundred times just this morning" I say eating my carrots
"Good. Serves him right" Tasia laughs
"Looks like he's still apologizing" sky says pointing toward Declan and Peyton
We all look over to see Payton following after Declan. Declan looked slightly annoyed and Peyton was looking stressed while talking to him.
"Dude, quit apologizing to me. She's the one you should be apologizing to. Your just lucky she got home safe" Declan says slamming his lunch tray down on the table
"Can we not? It's done. It happened. We can all just move forward" I say not wanting to deal with the drama
"If anything, he should still be apologizing. You're the one he ditched" Declan says taking the cap off of his water bottle
"Yes, we have established that" I say rolling my eyes
Declan shrugs his shoulders still looking annoyed, Peyton looks slightly defeated, and the girls look just as uncomfortable I feel in this very moment.
"So, you wanna ride with us to the scrimmage tonight?" Hannah asks before Peyton can open his mouth to apologize again
"Yes. Meet at our house?"

"You never told us how you got home Saturday night" sky asks
"Oh yeah. This guy actually gave me a ride" I say taking a seat on the stands
"What guy?" Tasia asks curiously
"I've actually never seen him before Saturday. It was kind of random but he was really nice" I say zipping up my jacket
