Listen to I Love You, I'm Sorry by Gracie Abrams while reading this!!!

A day had passed and Rafe, Ella, and I were getting ready to go to the boat's pool since we hadn't gone there yet. I decided to wear a bikini I had gotten recently, it was pastel pink and yellow and was made in a fabric that almost looked like silk, it was so gorgeous.

Bathing Suit:

I wore a cute yellow sundress as a cover-up and packed a bag with pool essentials, and some of Ella's toys before getting her ready. "Do you need any help?" Rafe asked me as I decided on what hat to give Ella. "I'm good thanks," I said and he nodded, going into the bathroom with a pair of swim trunks in his hand.

Doing this job with Rafe wasn't getting any easier because he wasn't acting like an asshole, and because of that, I couldn't bring myself to recognize all the damage that he's done. I didn't know how to act around him, and it was torturing me. Yet again, I couldn't bring myself to wish that these days would come to an end, because deep down, being next to Rafe was what made me the happiest.

"I'm ready," Rafe said, leaving the bathroom without a shirt on. Oh my god. He was doing this on purpose. I wanted to tell him to put a shirt on but I wasn't going to, that would be weird. As if he was reading my mind he picked up a t-shirt from his bed and put it on with a smirk on his face, hopefully, he hadn't seen me check him out.

We left the hotel and walked over to the pool, it was pretty crowded but not in an obnoxious way, therefore it was still pleasant. I got settled on a sun bed and so did Rafe, ours were practically attached as the sun beds were arranged in pairs.

"I want to go in the water, can we go?" Ella said jumping up and down a little making me smile. "I can go, I'm hot right now," Rafe said and I hummed. "Okay El, but first you have to put sunscreen on, come over here baby," I said and Ella whined, walking over to me. "I don't like sunscreen," she said, and I chuckled, "It's very good for you," I said and she shrugged her shoulders. I didn't want to stain my sundress and wanted to tan anyway so I took my dress off swiftly before picking up the sunscreen and slathering some of it on Ella's face at which she huffed.

I didn't know where Rafe was anymore but I needed his help with keeping Ella still as she kept trying to run away from me. "Rafe?" I said, turning around, to see him. He looked at me and his jaw clenched, his eyes darkening, I furrowed my eyebrows at him and he quickly snapped out of whatever trance he was in. "Can you keep her still, she keeps moving and I don't want to put sunscreen in her eyes," I said and he chuckled.

"Yeah sure," he said with a laugh. "Something funny Cameron?" I said with a giggle. "I remember you were just like that when you were little," he said with a chuckle and our eyes met, his eyes were sparkling, a sense of happiness drawn all over them.

"How do you remember that?" I said with a big smile on my face, "I just do, Laura had to basically hold you down to get you to wear sunscreen," he said and I laughed, not recalling that.
