Ricks POV.
Everyone's in a state of either panic or uneasiness. The woman—Michonne—just told everyone that Glenn and Maggie were taken by somebody who calls himself 'The Governor.' The place he has isn't held too far up from here, making this rescue mission a little easier to the rest of us. I stand around in the group, a few of us making a circle. Oscar speaks up first after we'd just talked to Michonne, her telling us that the Governor has Glenn and Maggie. "How do we know we can trust her?" I think about what he says and honestly? He's not wrong. The second she told us what happened to those two, I couldn't help but think maybe she did something with them; maybe it's all a trap.
"This is Maggie and Glenn—why are we even debatin'?" Beth speaks up, clearly panicked about her older sister being kidnapped. I watch as Daryl chimes in, everyone trying to figure out our next step.
"We ain't, I'll go after 'em." Daryl looks around the group, trying to reassure Beth and everyone else that he'll do this as a solo trip, quick and easy.
"Well this place sounds pretty secure, you can't go alone." I look at Daryl as if he's on some sort of suicide mission. "This can get risky in just a matter of time, we're playin' it safe." I look around to the four of them, noticing Carl a few feet back listening in on the matter. I silently pray that he doesn't ask to come with, because as of recently it feels like I keep on disappointing him.
"I'll go." Beth chimes in again, peaking the interest of the other inmate, Axel.
"Me too." Axel looks over to his friend Oscar, making him agree as well. they both look over at me and Beth. I take a deep breath and nod;
we're getting Glenn and Maggie back.

Natalie's POV.
The snapping and cracking of my right hand while it gets brutally assaulted makes my eyes prick with tears. I'm trying to hold back a blood curdling scream while I can feel every kick send flashes of pain down my entire right arm, up to my already-stabbed shoulder. Glenn is closing his eyes, turning his head away while he puts the entirety of his force into his kick, making a new popping sound in my hand every time his shoe comes in contact with my hand.
"Stop! Holy—SHIT." I curse out, Glenn stopping practically when I opened my mouth. He finally looks at me, our eyes meeting before we both involuntarily look down at my hand; I have to do this quick before the swelling gets bad. I start pulling my right hand back as my shoulder starts screaming in complete agony. My hand sends jolts of absolute torment down my right arm as the ropes scratch along top of it as I slide it past, my now-broken fingers bending awkwardly to move under the rope. Blood drips onto the floor from down my arm to my hand, both my stab wound and fresh bruising with open cuts around it making my entire right arm and shoulder fuzzy the more blood i lose. I let out strained cries, trying to desperately not make sound just in case Merle—or even worse, the Governor hears and stops our attempts to get out.
"Holy shit. It worked..." Glenn barely whispers, amazed that I just got my hand out and now I'm painstakingly untying my other hand. Being able to actually use a broken hand to do shit is surprisingly possible if you're running off of fear, pain, and adrenaline. I get my left hand out, standing up from the chair and slightly stumbling to the side, my entire head feels like radio static. "Hey you okay? I mean, as okay as you can be right now." Glenn gives me an awkward look, probably thinking I'm about to hit the floor or something.
"Yeah." I basically whisper—as if barely talking saves any energy, Natt. I move over to Glenn, crouching down by his chair as I untie his wrists from the arm rests of the seat. The second I have one hand out, he gestures for me to stop and take a break. "Did you see how you got in here?" I look around the room, walking around as I look for anything we can jump whoever comes next in here with.
