a/n: hey guys, sorry for the confusion. i really hated that first chapter so i'm going to restart the book.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rowan's POV:
I'm waking up to the sound of a door being slammed. Its my horrible neighbors. They're always so loud. Their a couple who constantly fight and party, so its really hard to get any sleep. If I ever do get good sleep its because I past out in the waiting room at the hospital.

I decide to just get up and make some coffee for me and my mom since getting sleep wasn't an option. I walked to our cramped kitchen and started making the coffee. After a few minutes, I set my moms on the counter and head to the balcony. I take a seat on one of the chairs and watch as people lived their lives. To my right I see a father and daughter picking out fresh fruit from a stand. To my left, I see a couple eating at a cafe. And right in front of me, I see a road filled with cars stuck in traffic. What path am I on?

The couple has love. The little girl has happiness. My life isn't like either one of those. My life is like traffic.

Its stuck.
I'm stuck.

Nothing is going good for me. My dad is in the hospital and the love of my life is thousands of miles away from my touch. All I can think about is him. His hypnotizing green eyes. His smile, the way he comforts me and makes me feel safe. I grab the stuffed giraffe he won me on our date. I hold it tight.

The last time I saw him, he was standing on top of a counter with all eyes on him, and he told me that he loved me. The last words that I've heard from his voice in a year. He's so far away, and there is nothing I can do to change that..

Peyton's POV:
I wake up and brush my teeth, clean my face and head back to my room. I hear my phone ring and see that bradley had just texted me. Asking me if I wanted to go play basketball with a few of our friends. I told him that I'd be there in 15 minutes or so. I reach into my drawers and pull out basketball shorts and a shirt. I slip them on and turn on my tv while I put on my socks.

"You were the first boy I've ever liked. Tell me if you're worth and I'll believe you, I want to believe you! Are you worth it?" I looked up at the screen. "Yes." It was an old episode of Girl Meets World. It was the secret of life episode. The water fight scene between me and Rowan. I immediately stop everything I'm doing. Seeing her is just bringing back so many thoughts.

I look under my bed and pull out a blue and purplish pink box. Fans sometime think that those were rucus coolers because we wore those colors whenever there were important rucus moments. I open the box to find memorabilia of our relationship. Inside, I see pictures, the menu from the dinner, the score sheets from go karting, and some other things. But then I see the note. That starts a little bit of the water works.

Rowan Blanchard, what an amazing girl she is. I love everything about her. Her beautiful smile, her positivity, even her constant clumsiness. Its only been a year since she's left and I'm still upset. I still have another year until I get to see her. Tick tock..

Author's POV:
Even though they were thousands of miles apart, they still haven't forgot about each other. And neither have moved on. There is still another year to go until Rowan returns home. If only they could hear each other's next words..

"I miss you."
