Peyton's POV:
Rowan's birthday is today and I really want to talk to her. I want to tell her happy birthday and that I love and miss her. I just wish that she would actually answer her phone for once..

I try and call her again, but as usual it goes to voicemail. I throw the phone on the floor and groaned in frustration. For the next few hours I'm simply laying down, staring at my wall. Then I hear a knock on the door downstairs. I open it and see G, "Hey, I was just around the neighborhood and decided to stop by and said hi, so..hey." I chuckled, "Hi, you want to come in?" "Sure," she said.

"So, watcha doing?" she asked as we made it up to the loft. "Trying not to..never mind," I shook my head and looked down. "Is everything okay?"

"No..no, not really," I told her being honest. "What's wrong?" "Its Rowan's birthday today.." She gave me a confused look. "What's bad about that?" I sighed and said, "Mind if I vent? I need to get some things off my chest." She gave me a smile and nodded.

I told her everything, starting from her leaving, to all of the missed cals and just how I've been feeling. "Wow, I'm so sorry about all of that," she told me with a sympathetic look on her face. "It's fine. I just wish she would call me or something, ya know?" She nodded in response. "Sorry for bothering you with all of this." I feel like I've been bothering her. Its just that I usually talk to Bradley, but his family is in town so I wouldn't want to get in between him and his family members. "I don't mind, Peyton."

"Well, thank you. I appreciate it." "You're welcome. If you ever need someone to talk to you can always call me." I smiled and she smiled back in response. "I have to get going, but remember, just give me a call." "Definitely. I have no plans tomorrow, you want to come over and just hang out or something."

"Sure," she said. We waved goodbye as she walked out of my house and down the street. You know what? I didn't expect to see this nice, kind, good side of G. Its different, but its a good thing. Hopefully we become good friends.
