Rowan's POV:
It took me a few minutes to actually moe and head back into Sabrina's house. For the rest of the party, I was in a down mood. I didn't know what to do. I never realized how bad I actually hurt Peyton. He didn't deserve to go through all of that. I'm the one who hurt him.

But the one thing that I didn't understand was that if he still felt the same towards me, then why didn't he call me back after that voicemail. It makes no sense. I guess I'll just have to ask him tomorrow..

Peyton's POV:
I walked away from Rowan and left Sabrina's house, while the tears slowly made their way down my face. Rowan needed to hear that. She needed to know how she really hurt me. I understand that her dad was not doing well at all and that it was most likely hard to handle, but breaking up with me wasn't going to make anything better. I would've been there for her, every step. But she chose to simply lie.

When I finally got to my house, I just sat on my bed, staring at the wall. I picked up my phone and dialed a number. "Peyton?" I sniffled. "Can you um, come over? I really need a friend right now."

After a few minutes, I opened the door to a worried G. She took one look at my puffy eyes and spoke. "What happened?" For 20 minutes, I explained what happened between me and Rowan at her surprise party. "Oh, I'm sorry Peyton..but why wasn't I invited," she said as she chuckled. I didn't laugh. "C'mon, I'm just trying the brighten up your mood."

"I know, sorry. I'm just- I don't know," I put my hand on my head and wiped my eyes a bit. She sighed, "Talk to her tomorrow. Figure this out." She gave me a small smile and rubbed my knee before getting up and walking toward the door. Before she could leave, I ran up to er and hugged her tight. "Thank you..for everything." We pulled apart and I found myself slightly leaning in, but we both leaned back.

She gave me a quick kiss on the cheek, "Hey, what're friends for?" I smiled at her and watched as she leaved. I'm glad I have such a good friend like her.
