"Oh, it's just my mom." Scott said said as Billie came into earshot, "she's nothing." The girl he was talking to frowned slightly

"Excuse me?" Billie asked, the boy turning toward his sister in shock; realising what he'd said.

"No! I mean, it's nothing." He said, correcting himself, his head turning between his sister and the girl; Allison if Billie could remember correctly. "I'm never busy for you."

Allison grinned, Billie sighed and shook her head, Scott just smiled dazedly at Allison.

"I like the sound of that." Allison said, Billie scoffing with a chuckle and pat his brothers back, a quick 'good luck' whispered in his ear before she walked off; deciding she'd talk to him later at home.

Billie made her way around the corner and spotted her group of friends and grin spread across her face.

She saw Sam turn and grinned at him, the boy smiling at her as well. Cameron chuckled lightly and marched forward to lift her off the ground in a large hug.

"Look who managed to sneak away." The Martin said, the girl laughing as he continued to spin.

Jean and Amelia laughed loudly and watched as the two continued to laugh with each other. Cameron had since stilled but kept the McCall in the air. Amelia's eyes shot over to Sam to see a look of jealousy on his face; the girl meeting his eyes and smiling sadly.

Jean, too, stared at the two with jealousy. Her heart breaking slight at the sight.

"Put me down, Martin!" Billie exclaimed, a few heads turning to stare at the two with amusement. The boy relented and placed her on the ground, Sam walking up to his best friend.

"How did you manage to get away?" He asked, the girl looking up at him with a smile.

"Finstock gave me a free period." Her words caused the group to grin widely.

Without saying a word, Amelia grabbed her hand and began to drag her down the hall; the others in tow laughing lightly at the shocked yell the girl let out.

"Thanks, Mr Martin!" Billianna said as the man placed down a plate of sandwiches for the group of teens. The others giving their thanks as the man left the room.

"So, how was the party last week?" Billie asked, the other four glancing at each other warily. They stayed silent for a little bit longer but Sam broke the silence.

"Alright, we left pretty early though." The Stilinski said, his eyes shooting toward the others warily who nodded and hummed in agreement. They all watched as Billie's brows creased together in confusion.

"Why?" The girl asked, her own eyes barely meeting the others own due to their reluctance to answer.

"Eh, boring." Cameron answered, "plus dad needed help here."

Billie nodded and watched the others silently nod along with the oldest Martin. Deciding not to pry any further, the girl decided they'd tell her the truth when they were ready; despite the hurt she felt at the lies.

"How was pack up with Finstock?" Amelia asked with a cocked brow and a smirk. Billie felt her heart begin to race in fear, she saw Sam's eyes widen slightly and she feared he'd tell them.

"Uneventful." The girl lied, her heart still pounding in her chest. Jean and Amelia rolled their eyes and giggled at the answer, satisfied with the lie. Sam however shot her a disapproving look; which she quickly looked away from in dismissal.

"Cameron!" The group heard Mr. Martin exclaim, the man walking in with a serious expression. "I've got a work meet tonight, got anywhere to crash for the night?"

The group, bar Cameron, looked at the boy sympathetically as he stuttered slightly.

"You can crash at mine." Billie offered, Cameron smiled gratefully at the girl; his heart skipping a beat slightly. "Plus, Sam is crashing tonight so it'll be just like old times!"

Instantly Cameron's hope and opportunity came crashing to a halt. Thought he refused to show the girl his small moment of heartbreak.

"S-Sounds awesome." Cameron stuttered, he saw the look Sam sent him causing him to look away bitterly.

For as long as he could remember he'd been in competition with the Stilinski. It started out fun, but ever since his affections for the McCall girl began it turned sour. The two boys always trying to out-do the other.

Billie, Sam and Cameron were about to enter her room when the youngest Stilinski came sprinting up the stares; almost colliding with his brother.

"Woah, Sti!" Sam said she heard grabbed him by the shoulders, "slow down." The three teens watched as the younger boy blinked rapidly and mumbled a small apology.

"Scott called." Was all he could offer as a reason, Billie watched as her two best friends perked up and went to follow the sophomore to her little brothers room.

"Um, hello?" The girl said, Sam and Cameron turning toward her with wide eyes.

"Sorry Billie, it's important." Sam said without thinking, Cameron nodding along with the older Stilinski.

The McCall girl just scoffed, and shook her head. She sulked into her room and slammed the door behind her; the boys realising what they'd done went to follow her.

"And yes I've had a lot of Adderall." They heard Stile's say from Scott's room.

"She'll get over it." Sam said, trying to convince himself more than Cameron.

"O-okay." The Martin boy said, moving toward Scott's room along with Sam. Unknowing of the girl listening in on their dismissal and her tears cascading down her face.

She shot a quick text to her mother explaining how Cameron and Sam were staying the night and that she'd be home later, further explaining she was helping pack up at the school.

"McCall?" Finstock asked as he walked into his office to find his shadow sat at his desk working through lesson plans.

He saw her hand shoot up, though her head never lifted to greet the man with her usual beaming smile. His heart skipped a beat in disappointment, yet refused to let himself feel the emotions soaring through his body at this current point in time.

As he rounded the desk, he saw her tear stained cheeks and the way she lowered her head more when she caught sight of his feet.

"Billie?" Finstock tried, the girl's shoulder's shaking slightly. He could see a few stray tear drops fall onto her lesson plans. Instantly he was on one knee before her and his hand placed over top of her frantic one holding the pen. "Look at me."

The girl looked up at him, her frustration and hurt written all over her face.

"Sorry, Coach." She said barely above a whisper. The look he sent her way had her confused.

"You know to call me, Bobby outside of school hours." He said, the girl's eyes widening.

"But-"

"But what?" He asked cheekily, a small grin on his face. The girl let a huff of a laugh past her lips. The man's smile widening slightly.

"But last week." The girl said finally, she watched as Bobby's smile faded slightly and cleared his throat. Though he never got up and never removed his hand.

"You did nothing wrong, Billie." He said, his eyes conveying an emotion she hadn't seen before. "It was my fault, I should never of-"

Instantly Billie had her lips on his, Bobby's eyes widening in shock. Before it could go any further he pushed her off and stared at her in disbelief.

"Sorry." She whispered, her eyes brimming with tears. Within seconds Bobby had her face in his hands and his lips on hers. The man grabbed her by the hips and lifted her onto the desk in a hurried frenzy.

Billie tangled her hands in his hair and bit at his lip slightly. The man groaned and continued to kiss her, all thoughts against his current actions locked deep down inside.
