SECOND CHANCE AT FIRST LINE

"Leave, McCall!" A voice boomed out inside Billianna's head, causing her to shoot awake with a gasp, her mind racing and repeating the event in the locker room a few days ago.

The young McCall had been avoiding school and the man that was currently haunting her dreams. Her mother had been on the night shift these last few days and didn't exactly notice her daughter skipping school; it wasn't until she received a call from the Beacon Hill's High principal was she finally alerted of her daughter's actions.

"Billianna McCall!" The junior heard from downstairs, Scott walked out of his room to give his big sister a cautionary look. The two knew that tone of voice, in short: she was fucked.

"Fuck my life." Billie whispered to herself as she entered the school; her eyes landing on Sam, Cam, Jean and Amelia the small group turning and smiling at the girl brightly. Sam glad to finally see his best friend again.

He worried about the McCall girl, she'd avoided his calls and questions and the last time she did this it didn't go so well. So, as she approached the group he sent her a worried look which the- clearly sleep deprived- girl waved off with a small smile.

Though, she didn't fail to miss the way the group's eyes immediately landed on Scott and Stiles when they entered. Sam seemed to have an internal battle; looking back and forth between the two McCalls finally deciding to stick with his best friend for the time being whilst the others rushed over to the sophomores.

Billie sent a look Sam's way, who waved it off with his own awkward smile.

"Don't worry about it." He dismissed, a sad smile gracing his lips. "How're you?"

The question through Billie off, tears gathering in her eyes for a moment. The thought of her classes today sending her into overdrive.

Sam immediately swept the girl up in a hug and held her head to his chest. A brief whisper of going somewhere quiet was asked and an affirmative nod was received.

The two best friends found an empty classroom, the girl falling apart in the older Stilinski's arms. The boy continued to hold her firmly to him, his heart racing slightly. He scolded himself for feeling the little rush of butterflies while his best friend broke down about something that was clearly destroying her.

"I kissed Finstock." The girl finally admitted, Sam's eyes widening and practically shoving the girl out of his arms. His heart seemed to stop for a moment and then reality came crashing down.

"Billie," he said, his voice serious and void of his usual teasing tone. "Tell me you're joking." The girl began to cry harder as she shook her head, the boy breathing out and running his hands through his hair.

Thoughts raced through his brain, he thought about how both McCall's were currently fucked. One unable to escape his new curse and the other refusing to accept the reality of hers.

"Billianna, that's not okay." He said, his eyes darting around the room to everything but her. The girl shook with sobs once more, her tears falling faster.

"You don't think I know that, Sam?" She asked, her voice raising a few octaves. The boy hushing her as best he could.

The girl huffed and turned away from him, her tears still streaming down her cheeks. The boy felt guilty for making her feel worse about it all, but he panicked. A teacher and a student never ends well.

Sam then sighed and brought the girl back into his arms. Stroking her hair lightly, the girl wrapping her arms tightly around his midsection.

"What's done is done." He said reassuringly, the girl nodding slightly against his chest, "Let's not have it happen again, alright?" He felt her nod once more, reciprocating the act and pressing a light kiss to the top of her head.

Billianna's hands shook as she found herself at the door of Finstock's office once again; her hand raised-shaking violently-and lightly rapped on the hard wood door. She heard a small 'come in' from inside.

With a deep breath she opened to door, she immediately noticed how Finstock stiffened when his eyes met hers. He looked back down at his paperwork and gestured for the seat in front of him.

The girl sat herself down and brought out her lesson plans, Finstock noticing how her hands shook with every pen stroke. Guilt surged through his entire being; he couldn't figure out what compelled him to kiss her on Friday.

He thought back to her innocent eyes, her scent and her little lip bit. Oh god, he thought about her lips against his and how they felt. A dark blush settled on his cheeks and shook it away as soon as he noticed it forming-though it did nothing to quell the intrusive thoughts that ran rampant through his mind.

The bell rang throughout the halls, signalling the end of a lesson. Both teacher and student glanced up at each other in shock, neither realising how long they'd sat in silence.

"I expect to see you at practice, McCall." Finstock said abruptly before gathering his class notes and leaving.

Billie sat there for a moment in stunned silence, her thoughts struggling to comprehend what just happened.

He's not getting rid of me?
