Billie watched as the teams ran back onto the field, her brother crouching down into the opening position. She saw the referee lean in and ask him something whilst a player slowly backed away from him at the same time.

"Ohhhhh..." Stiles drawled out, wringing his hands repeatedly-Billie looked back at him with confusion.

Billie looked over to see Finstock fuming, he watched closely as the referee called out for the next half to begin. Billie moved slightly closer and subtly took his hand in hers and squeezed gently.

Finstock looked down at her with wide eyes, a small smile gracing his lips and squeezed her hand back in thanks before releasing and screaming something as Scott began to weave and duck under players and making a beeline for the goal; the clock ticking closer to zero and the score not getting any higher.

Billie watches on in shock as he successfully throws it into the goal; the crowd cheering loudly. Billie even threw her hands up in victory with a loud cheer for her brother. She didn't see the the way Sam, Cameron and Finstock all looked at her enamoured by her laughter.

Though it was Stiles who saw his brother and the older Martin staring at his best friends sister in a way he knew too well. Though, he didn't catch the look his Coach was sending the Junior; his brother did though, and he felt a mixture of emotion bubble up into his chest. The most prominent being anger and disgust.

"McCall!" Finstock screamed, the girl looked up at him with a grin, "Pass to McCall!"

The onlookers watch as the opposing team gets the ball and runs toward their goal, the player stopping in his tracks in front of Scott, Billie watched in shock as the player threw the ball into McCalls net and the Sophomore took off.

"Did...did the opposing team just deliberately pass us the ball?" Finstock asked, looking down at Billie in confusion.

"I believe so, Coach." She answered staring in shock at the now confusing game before her. Scott continued to rush down the field, zig zagging through players and ducking and weaving expertly. Billie could hear Sam cheer for the boy as he ran alongside him, barely keeping up.

"Interesting." Finstock said with a wry smile. Billie looked up at him but shook her head and continued to cheer for her brother, his presence completely dominating the game; though the junior didn't miss the way Stiles continued to stressfully wring his hands and rub his neck.

Billie stood beside Finstock biting her fingernails, the man was currently arguing with the opposing team's coach about the previous goal.

"Balls in the net!" He screamed, Stiles echoing him. Billie looked up at the man and chuckled at his frustration. She looked over to see the other coach trying to argue back about a fowl goal, resulting in more frustration from the man beside her.

"That's the goal of the game!" Finstock exclaimed, "to get the goal in the goal!"

"Ball in the goal, Coach." Billie corrected, earning her a blank stare that had her giggling slightly; Finstock smiled at her a red tinge to his cheeks.

The sound of the referee calling for the players to get back into their positions had the two focusing back on the game; Billie's anxiety hitting her full force once more.

She saw Sam give her a reassuring thumbs up, and out of habit she went to nod at him; yet his dismissal of her the day before had her chest tightening and she looked away from him and kept her eyes on her little brother.

The people gathered in the bleachers, Finstock, Billie and Stiles all watch as Jackson takes off at the sound of the whistle dropping the ball and Scott picking it up and running up the field.

With bated breath the surround sounds fade away in Billie's ears, all she can see is her brother; all she can hear is his footsteps running up the field.

She watches as Scott freezes place, glancing around at the players that have stopped trying to defend against him; most hesitant to even step closer to the sophomore.

"Scott, no, no, no." Stiles mumbled, Billie once again turning to raise a brow at the boy and went to ask what was going on. But in the time that she'd turned around the sound of the buzzer rang out throughout the field and the Beacon Hill's crowd were chanting and cheering.

She looked up to see that Beacon Hill's had won by a point thanks to her brother; she watched as her brother ripped off his right glove and takes a moment to study his hand before sprinting off toward the school.

"Yes!" Finstock screams, turning toward Billie and scooping her up in a celebratory hug, taking the girl off guard. She felt as Finstock shook her violently and dropped her to then run off to the other players and celebrate their win with them.

For a moment she glanced back at where Scott had run off to and saw Allison rushing to meet up with him. A small smirk graced her lips and she decided to leave him be for a moment.

"Well done tonight." Billie said as she walked into Finstock's office; the man looked up at her with a small smile.

His eyes flitted briefly up and down her body, memorising her features without holding his stare too long.

"Um..." the girl started, her eyes avoiding his own. Finstock raised a brow and stood up slowly, he watched as she stumbled over her words and continued to cluster herself.

"Billie." Finstock whispered, grabbing hold of her chin lightly. His touch was delicate and soft, he gently rubbed his thumb along her jawline thoughtfully.

Billie's cheeks reddened, her heart beating faster in her chest the longer she stared up at the man.

"I-um," she coughed lightly and cleared her throat. "Amelia and Jean are covering for me, if you wanted to talk at your place."

The words had Finstock dropping his hand slightly, he nodded and turned away from the girl. The man had completely forgotten about the words he'd spoken to her hours earlier. His heart began to beat faster in his chest at the thought of her being in his home.

The man shook his head and looked back over at the girl, the man chastised himself for feeling the things he did. He should look over at her and see a child; yet all he saw was a young woman who looked at him as if he were her world.

"Yeah okay," he said with a smile, "let's go then."
