He ran. Blackend ran as far as he could from Vine, the feeling of betrayal and abandonment hitting him hard like a blade as he ran. He had grown up with Vine in his life for a long while, growing a very strong bond with the giant Geortharoc. Feeling the Geortharoc going against him, it hurt more than Blackend could think.

Suddenly, Blackend yelped as he felt teeth sink into one of his tails, throwing him against the rocky cliff with a loud thud. He got up as fast as he could, dodging Vine as his claws sliced at Blackends face. "Don't make this harder for you and I!" Vine yelled, charging at the Korathos as his packmates watched from behind with devious looks on their faces. "I can go Vine! I can go and you don't need to do this! I don't want to hurt you please you are my best friend.." Blackend replied, stepping far back as much as he could. "You don't understand BLACKEND." Vine snarled, stepping forward to Blackend as much as possible.

But a part of him was able to understand.

He could tell what was going on. That Vine didn't want to do this. He was pressured into it. Behind him were creatures that could take him down if they all teamed on him, and by the looks on their faces it seemed like Vine was being forced into killing and taking down his own friend. The Ghartokus looked familiar but clearly had hate towards Blackend just for being a Korathos. Blackend was the last of the Korathos species and his kind was known to be the strongest and the unbeatable. Maybe the Ghartokus had a bad history with Korathos' because they were said and seen as monsters with no mercy who would attack and kill just for fun and entertainment. Vine couldn't run from them, his large body would slow him down and the creatures behind him would have enough speed to chase after him and take him down even if he tried.

Blackend ran from the Geortharock, feeling him grab onto his tail with his claws this time. With no choice left, Blackends other tail immediately swung left at a vicious speed, slamming across the Geortharocks face, knocking him to the ground. The creatures behind Vine charged at Blackend seeing what had happened, stopping immediately as Blackend end shot out a long, life-threatening breath at the creatures. The creatures decided to go to Vine, checking if their strongest, largest packmate was alive.

Blackend wanted to check on Vine but couldn't. With guilt in his chest that felt like it was swelling, he ran in a random direction, fog making it almost impossible to see. He kept moving until he arrived at an unknown place. One he never visited or was familiar with. Flowers were all over the place, A giant skull poked out of the ground and there were large gray ragged cliffs around. The cliffs had large openings and looked like it had a coral-like design. He inspected the skull suspiciously, its massive appearance confusing Blackend.

Who could that have been?

Could a creature ever be that big?

He figured nobody would care.

He went up the hill he found, laying down near the water knowing that the fog was thick enough to make it impossible for the pack of creatures to find him. And he knew that the creatures were tired since they looked like they had been in a couple of battles. He closed his eyes and let himself be taken away into his dreams, beginning to snore peacefully as he did.

6 hours later

Blackend rose from his sleep, the same dream he had all the nights before fading away as he rose. He drank some of the water before him and closed his eyes comfortably. When suddenly..

A high-pitched noise was heard in the distance, like a cry for help.

Suspiciously, Blackend followed it.
