Lowering his head, he stepped into the large rock archway. Under it, he passed by something that had run by his feet.

A Saikarie.

He continued following the noise and, to his surprise, found an injured 6-legged creature shaking in fear. It looked like it was near death. It bled down its back and was leaning to the left slightly, as if about to pass out. The Saikarie was purple, and slammed its paw into the ground, in a code-like communication. Behind it, 4 more Saikaries came out and turned their heads up at the Korathos. "Well, this is a surprise. What are you?" The purple Saikarie said. "My name is Blackend. I am a Korathos, or as people call me, the curse." Blackend snarled, stepping in front of the 6-legged creature, who was already passed out from the fear it had felt. "Well, my name is Violet. And we are going to need that Minawii. It's been eating from my fruit for far too long and I have had enough of it." Violet growled. Blackend looked behind her and saw the Saikaries were different colors. Blue, green, pink, And white. "Well excuse me, maybe your rainbow gang can learn how to share," Blackend said, earning a gasp from Violet. "YOU DID NOT JUST SAY THAT ABOUT US." She growled, jumping forward. "ATTACK!" She suddenly shouted, the Saikaries jumping at Blackend who quickly got up in alarm. Most were aiming for the Minawii but Blackend had noticed they couldn't jump that high. Two bit onto his feet, while another two had bitten onto his tails, Blackend letting out a loud yelp. He slammed his tails into the rocky cliff, and his feet into the ground, which eventually got them off. Violet smirked and charged at him as her packmates joined her, suddenly, Blakckend used one of his tails and hit all 5 of the Saikaries with it, throwing them in different directions. To his surprise, that got them away.

They hadn't returned after 3 minutes, and unsure of where they went, he looked down at the passed-out and injured Minawii.

A Minawii.

He had heard about them, they were rare and usually were always hunted because they had very little health or could be annoying creatures that tried to hunt others, often failing from a lack of strength.

He didn't care, he knew what it was like to be hopeless and alone.

He gently bit onto the neck of the Minawii, lifting it and taking it with him near the small body of water where he had slept, right next to it, fruit.

He couldn't tell if the Minawii ate meat or fruit.

He lay with the Minawii, waiting until it would wake up.

4 hours later...

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" A sudden yell woke up Blackend, he realized he had fallen into a nap and opened his eyes to the Minawii that was screaming. "Hey! Hey! It's okay!" Blackend said in a soothing tone. "You're big! Huge! I wanna be big and huge! How is it? Is it scary? Is it cool? I bet it's cool!" The Minawii began to say at a fast pace. "Woah um. Slow down." Blackend replied, the Minawii smiling at him and sitting down, curling its tail around its feet. "I got you a gift because I was worried you would eat me!" The Minawii said, pulling out a flower and dropping it near Blackends head. The flower was blue, yet looked crushed as if it had been sat on for a while. "Thank you, this is nice. Also, I won't eat you don't worry." Blackend smiled, the Minawii squeaking in response. "What is your name?" Blackend questioned, as the Minawii gave to the response.

The Minawii stuck it's tongue out, and stayed quiet, staring at Blackend.

"Uh.. Well?" He said again.

"I don't have one!" The Minawii suddenly shouted, keeping its tongue sticking out of its mouth.

"How about we give you one? Maybe.." Blackend looked around for an idea. He thought of Blue, but that would be very basic. He looked at the flower and back at the Minawii. "Are you a female?" He asked, turning his head. "Yeah!" She squealed in response, jumping onto his face and sliding down his curved snout. "How about Atasi?" He suggested, the Minawii jumping up and down. "Yeah, I like it! What does it mean? Scary and dangerous?" The Minawii smiled fiercely, jumping side to side dangerously. "It means Blue flower. I see you like flowers, and you are blue. So Atasi!" Blackend said again, the Minawii smiling widely at him. "Can we be best friends Mr black giant octopus!" Atasi smiled, Blackend surprised by the name. "I'm not a giant octopus, I am Blackend, a Korathos. Last of my kind, according to everybody." He replied, the Minawii opening its mouth in shock and happiness. "Oooooohhhh, I'm sorry. How about we go flower hunting! I know a big field of flowers!" She suddenly said, running fast in front of Blackend, who slowly got up and followed after.

This Minawii was full of energy, very energetic and happy.

Blackend smiled, knowing he had finally made a friend, one who wouldn't betray him.
