In the end, Michael really had nothing to worry about. He fit in quite well with Lauren's family, and was soon friends with everyone.
Two years had passed since that fateful day in which Michael and Lauren had met. Michael was doing his usual routine of guitar playing by the lake, but now he had Lauren by his side.
Michael had realized long ago that he was going to spend the rest of his life with the short, fiery young woman beside him. Lauren wasn't surprised when he popped the question one Sunday afternoon."Lauren Laidley, I've spent the past two years with you. It has been the best two years of my life, and I'm hoping that the next two years and the two years after that and every two years until the day I die will be even better. Lauren, you're the love of my life. Will you marry me?"
Lauren couldn't possibly choke out any words, even thought she saw it coming, and simply nodded a yes with tears of joy in her eyes and eternal happiness burning inside her. She had found her soul mate, and he had found his as well.~~~~~
"Jeanie, that's too tight!" Lauren choked out.
"If it's any looser your boobs are going to fall out of it!" Jeannessa sighed, tying the bodice of Lauren's wedding dress a little bit tighter.
"And if it's any tighter you'll crack my ribs!"
"Oh shush, I've done this before. You'll be fine." Jeanie scoffed, pulling the veil down over Lauren's face. She went around to Lauren's back, making sure the rose headpiece was still perfectly perched over the updo Jeanie had so meticulously worked on.
"I think you're ready! Would you like me to go check on the groom and the rest of this whole shindig?"
Lauren nodded slowly. Even though she was incredibly excited, her stomach was fluttering nervously. What if she tripped in her high heels? What if Michael backed down? What if she forgot her vows?Lauren didn't need to worry, though. As soon as she began walking down the aisle, the butterflies disappeared when she laid eyes on the most handsome man she had ever seen standing at the end of the aisle. Michael stood there, his bright orange hair just as messy as normal, but the black tuxedo, white button up, and black bow tie with the skulls on it (Michael insisted he needed to stay punk rock even if he was getting married) balanced out the messy hair. His hazel eyes widened when he saw Lauren slowly gliding down the aisle, her five year old sister tossing flower petals in front of Lo as she walked.
"Wow..." Michael breathed to Lauren when she finally stood in front of him on the altar.
"You look good too. Shut up." Lauren giggled back. She was sure the priest said all the vow things, but before Lauren knew it, Michael was happily saying "I do!" and she was returning the vows. It went faster than she could have ever imagined.
"You may kiss the bride!" The priest said.
Michael and Lauren's lips connected, and it was like the very first time. Sparks flew, and Lauren knew she was where she belonged.Media is Lauren's dress and hair!!

Sacrilegious
Fanfiction//Sunday morning, wake up early, skip church service to find my Jesus. I know it sounds so sacrilegious, but I just don't belong in a place like that.\\ in which he's looking for true meaning and she disapproves of his smoking.
