YEAR 2008

The car pulled up to the orphanage gates, and little Sejal jumped out excitedly.

At 8 years old, she had bright eyes and a big smile. Her mother, Vidushi, followed her. Vidushi was kind and always helped others, even though she was now married to a very rich man.

She had grown up in an orphanage and wanted to help other children like she once needed help.

"Sejal, stay close," Vidushi said gently.

Sejal nodded and smiled. "I love coming here, Mama. The kids are so much fun, and I like that you help them."

Vidushi smiled back. "It's important to help others when we can. This place is special to me, just like you are."

"Why is it special?" Sejal asked.

Vidushi's face softened. "Because, like these children, I grew up in an orphanage. I know what it's like to have no one. But I found love with your Papa and a new life. I want to help these kids find happiness too."

Sejal beamed up at her mother. "You're the best, Mama."

Vidushi laughed and brushed a strand of hair from Sejal's face. "And you're my little sunshine."

As they walked into the orphanage, Sejal ran off to play with the other children in the yard. Vidushi watched her daughter with a warm smile, then turned to speak with the orphanage staff.

After some time, Vidushi decided to take a break and walked around the quiet part of the orphanage. She saw a boy sitting alone under a tree. He looked sad, with his head down and his arms wrapped around his knees.

Vidushi approached him. "Hello there," she said softly, kneeling beside him. "What's your name?"

The boy didn't answer. He stayed silent, not looking at her.

Vidushi tried again. "It's okay. You don't need to be afraid. I'm just here to talk. Can you tell me your name?"

Still, the boy didn't speak. Vidushi felt a pang of sadness for him. Just then, a staff member came over. "Vikram, go to your room," the staff member said firmly.

At the sound of his name, Vikram quickly got up and ran inside the building.

Vidushi watched him go and asked the staff member, "Why is he so alone? What's his story?"

The staff member sighed. "His name is Vikram. He's 16 years old. His parents died in an accident, and there's a rumor that his relatives might have caused it over some property. No one wanted to take him in, so he's been here. He's very quiet and doesn't trust easily."

Vidushi felt her heart ache for Vikram. She understood what it was like to feel alone. She wanted to help him and give him some comfort.

_Few Days Later_

morning, the Oberoi mansion was bathed in golden sunlight. Sejal, still just 8 years old, played joyfully in the garden. Her laughter filled the air, and the maids, who adored her, watched over her with smiles.

As Sejal twirled around, she saw her father, Mr. Raghav Oberoi, arriving. He was dressed in business clothes and walked with a strong presence. Seeing him, Sejal ran up and hugged him tightly.

"Papa!" she called out.

Mr. Oberoi, usually serious, smiled warmly at his daughter. It was a rare smile, only for his wife Vidushi and their daughter Sejal. "How's my little princess today?"

Sejal's face lit up. "I missed you, Papa! I had so much fun outside!"

As they enjoyed their moment together, Mr. Oberoi noticed his secretary, Mr. Arjun Kapoor, arriving with a boy beside him. Arjun, a dedicated worker, had a serious look on his face.
