Anu paced nervously in the garden, her heart racing as she thought about her dream. At first, she thought it was just a common nightmare, but she soon realized there was more to it. She had been having new dreams, each set in a different timeline, but the one constant was her and Avinash's death.
Every dream ended the same way: with both of them dead. At first, she wasn't concerned, but as the wedding day approached, she felt increasingly uneasy, like she was about to lose everything.
She started to believe that these dreams were a sign of impending disaster. She tried to talk to Avinash about it, and while he tried to calm her down, saying everything would be alright, she couldn't shake the feeling of dread.
The wedding was just two days away, with the ceremonies starting tomorrow: mehendi, haldi, sangeet, and all. "I just hope everything will go well," she prayed silently.
WEDDING DAY
Anu was getting ready for the wedding. She wore a stunning red and gold lehenga, intricately embroidered with delicate patterns. Her dupatta, draped gracefully over her head, was adorned with tiny mirrors that shimmered in the light.
Gold jewelry, including a heavy necklace, earrings, and bangles, complemented her attire. Her hands and feet were adorned with beautiful mehendi designs, and her makeup highlighted her glowing face and sparkling eyes.
Everyone had left the room, leaving her alone to gather her thoughts. She took a deep breath, trying to steady her nerves.
Anu was excited, a bright smile on her face as she looked at herself in the mirror. The thought of finally marrying Avinash made her giggle with joy. But her happiness soon vanished as she remembered her dreams.
"No, Anu, look, in just a few minutes, you're going to marry the love of your life. Nothing is going to happen. Just like Avi said, 'think positive,'" she told herself, trying to calm down.
Suddenly, she felt a sharp, hard blow to the back of her head. Pain exploded through her skull, and her vision blurred. She tried to turn around, but her legs gave way, and she collapsed to the floor.
The pain was intense, radiating through her entire body as she struggled to stay conscious.
Everything around her began to fade. Her thoughts became jumbled, and darkness crept in from the edges of her vision.
She felt a sense of helplessness and fear, knowing she was losing consciousness but unable to do anything about it. As the darkness closed in, her last thought was of her avi, and the wedding they might never have.
Anu's family was in a panic, her mother crying and her father frantically calling for help. The entire household was in chaos. When Avinash heard the news, his heart dropped, and anger mixed with worry surged through him. He immediately ordered everyone to search for her.
They quickly reviewed the CCTV footage and saw a man, covered from head to toe, carrying an unconscious Anu out of the house.
"Sir, we tried to trace the CCTV footage, but we can't find anything further," one of the security personnel reported.
A change flickered in Avinash's eyes, and a small smirk briefly formed on his lips before he quickly hid it. Without saying a word, he turned and walked out of the room, leaving everyone concerned.
"Avinash, where are you going?" his father called after him.
"I will come back with Anu, Dad. Don't worry, I will bring her home," Avinash replied, determination in his voice as he left to find his bride, he talked like he knows where she is...
And who did this...
He talked, knowing exactly who had taken her and where. Starting the car, he sped towards the location, his heart pounding faster with every second. He couldn't lose her, not in this life of theirs.
