Her chest tightened. The way he looked at her made her heart race, but she refused to admit it.

"Why would I know?!" she shouted back, her voice cracking.

"I don't care to know!"

She turned sharply, ready to walk away, but Vihaan was faster. He grabbed her wrist and pulled her back, caging her against him.

Her back hit his chest, and his arms locked around her, holding her in place.

"Vihaan, let me go!" she cried, trying to wriggle free.

"I should actually show you who she is," he murmured, his voice low and filled with determination.

"I don't care who she is!" Aarohi shouted, tears streaming down her face. "You and her can both go to hell! She's so unlucky to have you as her lover!"

Vihaan chuckled softly, his breath warm against her ear.

"Shhh," he whispered.

"Well, then you should see who this unlucky woman is."

Without giving her a chance to protest, he began guiding her toward the nearby fountain.

Aarohi fought against him, trying to escape his grip, but Vihaan was relentless.

He stopped in front of the fountain, standing directly behind her. She struggled to break free, but he wrapped his arms tighter around her, pulling her into a back hug.

"Let me go, Vihaan!" she demanded, her eyes squeezed shut.

"Come on, Aarohi," he said softly, his voice teasing yet tender.

"Be brave. Open those beautiful eyes of yours."

"No!" she cried, shaking her head.

He leaned closer, his lips brushing against her ear as he whispered, "You'll be jealous of her beauty."

Aarohi's heart raced. Her breath hitched as she felt his warmth surrounding her, his voice sending shivers down her spine.

Slowly, against her will, her curiosity got the better of her.

And when she finally opened her eyes, her reflection in the fountain stared back at her.

Her...

Her reflection...

Vihaan didn't loosen his grip. Instead, he tightened his hold around Aarohi, his chest pressing against her back as she stared at their reflection in the fountain.

Her breathing was uneven, her mind reeling from the emotions coursing through her, but his voice brought her back to the moment.

"The moment I saw her in my hostel room," he began, his tone soft yet filled with unspoken emotions, "my heartbeat skipped."

Aarohi's eyes widened, her reflection mirroring her shock.

"The spark, the touch, her giggles," he continued, his voice trembling slightly.

"Everything about her felt so beautiful, so different. I was someone who built walls around myself, walls no one could break, but she did. She broke them effortlessly, with just her presence."

His words sent a wave of warmth through Aarohi's heart, yet she couldn't bring herself to speak.

"She made me realize what love is," he whispered, his voice filled with awe.

"Her innocence, her endless chatter... that's what I'm living for."

Aarohi's lips quivered as tears threatened to spill once more, but this time, they weren't tears of pain.
