Elliott Johnson is the lead OC of this series.
He is a human boy around the same age as his housemate, SpongeBob. And like SpongeBob, is joyful, hardworking, and sometimes clumsy and silly, but he's not as childish and tends to take things seriously. He is also known to be the first human to breathe underwater, though he doesn't know how he got the ability, nor does he want to know.
He and SpongeBob first met some time after the latter moved into his pineapple. After SpongeBob settled into his new home, Elliott was out fishing with his parents one day above Bikini Bottom. Suddenly, a storm came in and lightning struck the boat they were on. While the fate of his parents remains unknown, Elliott somehow sunk to the bottom, where SpongeBob found him and brought him in, and the two became close friends. Although he has moved on from the incident, Elliott still wonders what happened to his parents and is always longing to return to the surface and find them.
