[The episode starts with a view of Conch Street. The screen zooms in closer and fades to a view of SpongeBob's entrance.]

SpongeBob: [Opens the door and breathes in the fresh air] Ahh, what a wonderful day. [Walks outside with Elliott in tow] The sun is out, the water is shimmering, scallops are chirping... So peaceful.

[A boy comes in with some wood, a hammer, and some nails.]

Elliott: Oh. Hey, Billy.

Billy: Hey, Elliott. Hey, SpongeBob.

SpongeBob: Whatcha doin' today?

Billy: I'm gonna start a new business venture here in Conch Street. And what better way can I do so than with my two closest friends? [SpongeBob and Elliott smile at that remark] Now, stand back, guys. It's about to get noisy. [Starts to noisily build a stand. Squidward peeks his head out the window.]

Squidward: Can we lower the volume, please? [Billy stops] I can't work with all that racket going on!

SpongeBob: Oh. Sure thing, Squidward.

Squidward: Yes. Mmm. Right. Mmm. [Goes back inside]

Billy: Okay. I gotta do this peacefully then. [Taps on a nail lightly, and he looks up at Squidward's window. He does it again and continues to, making sure he doesn't make too much noise, but it starts to stress him out. Meanwhile, in Squidward's house, Squidward has his clarinet in his hand.]

Squidward: And now... for some soothing sounds from Squidward's clarinet. Thank you, thank you. [Starts to play while the boys look up and Billy believes that Squidward's music is drowning out the outside noise. So, he decides to finish his stand quickly. Squidward stops his music and looks out the window again.]

Squidward: Boys, I thought I... [Notices what Billy built] Huh?

[It's revealed to be a stand for blowing bubbles.]

Billy: Hey, Squidward. Wanna blow some bubbles? Only 25 cents.

Squidward: Oh, right. Like I would spend a moment of my time blowing bubbles.

Billy: Uh-huh.

Squidward: Oh, puh-lease, Billy Sutton. I mean, who in the world would pay to blow bubbles?

Billy: I can think of some. [Patrick comes out of his house, stuck to the underside of the rock] Ooh. An example.

Patrick: Good morning. [Starts to fall] Huh? [Falls off his rock and onto his furniture]

Squidward: Oh, boy. [Patrick walks over to the three boys]

Billy: Good morning to you, sir. Would you care to blow a bubble?

Patrick: Hmm, how much is it?

Billy: Only a quarter.

Patrick: Sounds reasonable. [Whispering to SpongeBob] Uh, I'm going to need to borrow a quarter.

SpongeBob: [Pulls out a quarter] Sure thing, Patrick. [Gives it to Patrick]

Patrick: Ah, one quarter. [Hands the quarter to Billy, who bites it to see if it's real]

SpongeBob: Thank you. [Cut back to Squidward]

Squidward: Hmm, business is booming. [Laughs] How did I ever get surrounded by such loser neighbors and a quirky builder at heart? Uh-huh. [Continues playing. Cut back to the boys and Patrick. Billy dips the wand in the bubble soap.]

Billy: Here we go. One bubble wand. Dipped and ready to go. [Patrick grabs the wand from SpongeBob, inhales deeply and begins to blow, but a bubble doesn't come out, much to the boys' concern. He stops for a moment to pant, before blowing again. After a while, Billy awkwardly puts up a "Lessons" sign.] Any day now. [Patrick then loses his breath] Could I interest you in some lessons? Also 25 cents.
